Some of the surprise is the fact that for most people (in my experience, anyway), it is easier to LOOK at a word and say "yes, that is right," than it is to spell it on command. That's why my score was as high as it was, I think.

yup, that makes sense

I also notice that if I get insecure about how to spell a word, and start editing it repeatedly, it's normally my first guess that was correct.

I know what you mean well at least in English :) speaking of if a person isn't seasoned in the use of English words with the meaning behind its use can be interesting even for the seasoned no doubt and surely for any language I assume for I only know English so how would I know (so) see like that for if I say sow to plant or If a person can't see my typing and I spoke sew in person just the word sow I mean so would you know I meant about clothes..

I'm tired...I'm reading sow not as planting, but as a female pig LOL. I COMPLETELY missed the point the first time though. :D Oh, dear...*wipes tears from eyes*
