Which one do you prefer and why?

Which one feels right in your heart? And spare me your "it doesn't matter responses." Try to be objective based on the images.

Or post your own image of Jesus based on what you feel most comfortable with. I think most people feel comfortable with a Jesus that looks similar to the people of their own ethnic and racial background and I think that is completely natural and probably slightly unnatural to think otherwise.

I am inclined to choose the top left image because it is the common depiction of the suffering Christ (having a crown of thorns on His head). As for having blue eyes, who knows?

1 AND 3.

Why?
I have no idea why. I guess first one reminds me more of ''Jesus". I mean Jesus from movies.
The third one- i just like it.

The first picture looks like the picture of Jesus that I am accustomed to seeing. I don't know, though, why they usually have him look that way. Did someone who actually saw him start that, or was it a later depiction?

I don't really have a need to see an image of Jesus, although I can understand why people may find it easier to have a visual representation.

But I should image he looked like a typical person from the country he was born in.
Maybe his features were a bit weathered from all the travelling around.
I would have thought he would have been pretty fit and lean from all that walking.

This is not a very good test.
Number 1 is based on a Actor in a very good Jesus film,
The second one is not even human, it's a model. A recreation.
The third is a painting of a guy I've never seen before.

Scientific bias would point to #1, because of more factors than just race. imho.

But yes, historically Jesus was closer looking to Saddam Hussein than a New York Jew.

The top picture of Jesus is a little scary.... Looks more like a drug dealer or vampire slayer

That painting was aimed at the youth today to get their attention.:)

Not that I would say anyone of them represents what my mind thinks Christ looks like. Didn't see this one in your choices. A picture I've seen hanging in many Christian homes.

I believe the Shroud of Turin is the one of the things Yeshua /Jesus was buried in. I like this picture because experts took many months bringing this face out from the Shroud.

Psalm 24:6 Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob. Selah
1 Chronicles 16:11 Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always
Psalm 27:8 My heart says of you, "Seek his face!" Your face, LORD, I will seek.
Psalm 27:4 One thing I ask of the LORD, this is what I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD and to seek him in his temple.

The first one minus the blue eye because that is the image I can immediately connect with Jesus (thorn on His head). Ethnically, the first one is also the closest considering Jesus' own Jewish root.

As for the other two, I couldn't relate or connect them with the image of Jesus' I have always had for Jesus. To be outrageously honest and blunt, the 2nd image looked like a thief while the 3rd looked more like a follower of budhism :(

Lol I agree. The second one looks like a rapist! Can you believe that is the image "Time magazine" came up with up for Jesus based on skeletal fossil evidence for people in that area of the world for that time? (at least so they say). I think its a lot of rubbish personally and an obvious attempt by the anti-Christians to make Jesus look ugly. I refuse to believe he was unattractive, seedy or even swarthy looking.
