This is my newest Christmas as a Christian. I backed away a few years ago and just came back. And recently I have been so excited for Christmas. I want to buy decorations and decorate and buy people gifts. Is this wrong? People think I need to focus on the upcoming holiday. But I might spend it alone and then go to work. And I already plan to write people thank you cards. I just need to buy some more. I have the list of people ready to go and I keep adding more people. All I know is that I love Jesus and people and I love to give and make people happy. I also like to go shopping and it makes me feel good to think about how happy these gifts will make these people. I guess I just want to know peoples opinions because I don't know how to feel. Part of me wonders if I should feel bad that I am so excited. :/

That's awesome!

Acts 20:35 35
I have shown you in every way, by laboring like this, that you must support the weak. And remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

I hope you have a blessed Christmas. :D

P.S. I want a new Hyundai Genesis coupe. :p

I'm definitely getting a little excited about Christmas. It's been a bit cooler lately, for Florida, and that always puts me in the mood. My favorite thing about Christmas is just spending time with the fam, thanking God for the birth of Christ, and all the awesome food. Gifts are good too, but I definitely prefer to get others gifts than to get any myself. It's always fun to get someone something special and see them open it, that's when you get your mental camera and take a picture. :)

I'm always ready to get together with Christians for fellowship. Be doing that tonight, in fact, and also on December 25th.

If christmas is such a wonderful Christian holy day (holiday) Why do atheist celebrate it as well. They claim there is no God.
What does God have to say about this pagen holy day.

Deuteronomy 12:30-32 (KJV)
30 Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
31 Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

Jeremiah 10:1-4 (KJV)
1 Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
First we are told not to learn the way of the heathen. Then God tells us what they do.
They cut down a tree and decorate it and stand it up, fixing it so it doesn't tip over.
Can you say christmas tree?
Will you continue in the way of the heathen? Or will you obey the only True and Living God of Creation.
Do you really want to go against God and pay the eternal price: being tormented day and night for ever? Being cast into the lake of fire.
Many times God give example of what happens to those that take part in the way of the heathen. He destroys them.
Be more than a hearer of the Word be a doer of the Word also.
James 1:22 (KJV)
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

Well, you always went on about how uncool I was, so I figured the sports car would add some epic-tality to my persona. :p
