Every Christian chat site has a particular "flavour" or bias if you like.
There are no bullies here just people you learn to argue with or not respond to because they are set in concrete.
This CC is one of the friendliest and most easy going - with a lot of friendly banter and some fun threads like "What If Aliens Created Us?" what a crack up. Great humour!

If you are going to sook and take your bat home and stop playing you won't enjoy any of the other chat sites. Some are dominated by atheists provoking Christians with endless threads on evolution or whatever.
Others are dominated by Oneness Apostolics who will bully you with glee.
Some are so boring because the same six people do all the new threads.
One very popular site is so full of advertisements that it is hard to read and follow the postings.

I am no Calvinist and I pick and choose my threads to reply to. Calvinist predetermination whatever is of no interest to me. So I don't click on it.
But a good fun time on who should wash the dishes is really enjoyable. A laugh!
And of course I take down all those errant Christians who deny Pentecost.
Now that is fun ... does that make me a bully?

Yep which is why I didn't mention a "name" of another site, just a "trail" after all if someone wants to search for sites they can do so,though not a good idea really to ask for other sites.

The venom is found on your keyboard...No one has attacked you here, have they??? You are the one who is in attack mode..
Did you direct Deva to a CHRISTIAN chat site? One you described as being "ungodly," where they "hate the truth of God," because they reject your Calvinistic doctrines and bent? Don't play all innocent. We can all see what you said, you know ;)

Different subject, I know.... But, you poor little people who think people who disagree with you are bullying you, had better wake up and grow up. Otherwise, you are going to have a long miserable life to live.
THIS sister!

Look I know how you feel because I've been there. I was here before for years and then I came back under a new name. Anyways, I used to get very offended with pretty much everything. One of the first people to do damage, ended up being one of my best friends on here. I never thought that maybe he was just sarcastic and silly. I have grown by being on here. I've grown thick skin and I don't care what anyone says about me anymore.

I encourage you to stay. People will be mean forever. This is a good stepping stone into the real world. It will be uncomfortable and it will hurt sometimes, but trust me, it's worth it. In real life if someone hurts me or says something that I don't like, I don't care anymore. Before I probably would've cried about it like a baby. See what I mean? Negativity sometimes toughens you up.

Now I'm not saying to take it and turn the other cheek...but I mean that if someone says something that bothers you, tell them off or brush it off your back. Do not hold on to it.

I would really like to find one, There are so many Calvinist bullies here.
I didn't even know really what a Calvinist was until I came here. Turns out I believe some of what they do. Seems so easy to label people with the tactic of degrading them. This thread, and your post, can be construed as bullying.

So many times people label others bullies simply because they don't agree with them. Think of how your thread might affect those who believe certain calvinistic views.
Don't you think the thread itself is a thinly veiled bully tactic?

On that site..the"moderators"...edit and change what you post, they delete words and sentences that you post , so it comes out not being your words...then behind the scenes they threaten you in an effort to censor your thoughts...That is not Christian Conduct at all. Do you agree? I saw them ban a man who taught in seminary, and taught greek...they banned him because they could not answer him on a thread on textual variants....they tried to bully him...would you describe that as "christian"?

Often the same people that tell me I am going to Hell in a handbasket, or that I call, "stupid", are the same people I might end up laughing and joking with on another thread.

As it is written: "A chicken ain't nuttin but a bird."

Calvinists are bullies? Funny how we all see things differently.

None can really compete :D

One that a few people here had encouraged others to visit (which I did,
but did not care for it), shut down suddenly with no advance warning

We all believe some of what they do! But, to hear them speak, we "hate the truth of God," and are "ungodly" if we reject the kit and caboodle of Calvinistic doctrine. And that is just ONE person's opinion, from one little post.

Another excellent post....It is fine to disagree, and in fact can lead to learning and growth as each person has to defend their view....I did find the thread mildly offensive, but I will not lose sleep over it tonight. When you go on any site there is going to be much back and forth, questions challenges, etc...after awhile you come to expect a certain amount of it.
When someone overheats and blows a gasket, it is obvious to all who read it....
Some people have never had their ideas, challenged or examined as the Bereans examined even Apostolic teaching...
10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews.11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

I tried to add to your reputation, but it will not let me???

Good post...good advice.
yes many times the person you disagree with most at first eventually becomes a good friend.

If you watch carefully...most times people do not like when someone twists what they said and gives a mis-representation of their words.....more than the doctrinal position itself...re-read threads where it gets heated, and I think 85% of the "heat" comes from someone bearing false witness about someone else.
