Israel is not America's 51st state so why do we give them a dime-?

Why do we help Israel? Does anyone ever read the whole bible anymore? You ask your questions amiss. If I might I have a paper that I have written on our relationship with Israel. It is a study on PROMISES in the bible.

ANCIENT PROMISES

BIRTHRIGHT PROMISES
ARE FULFILLED

The United States of America, Great Britain, and Israel are all three brothers. How is this?, You ask, The USA and Britain it is easy to see but, Israel?
Let us take a journey back in time, back in the Bible to Old Testament prophecies.

In Genesis we have a record of the first promises Yah {GOD} made to Abram. Abram was about 75 years old at this time. For 10 years Abram and Sarai waited and pondered these promises. Not having any children of their own, and having waited on God’s promise, Sarai encouraged Abram to take her maid servant Hagar and have a child by her. This son Ishmael, was not the son of promise, and as a result has engendered problems and conflicts that have endured to this day. When Abram was 99 years old, Yah appeared to Abram again. Yah promised, I will make you exceedingly fruitful; and I will make nations of you, and kings shall come from you. This is where we learn that Abram was to be the father of many nations {note: scripture said many not all nations not all tribes and races}. Yah also changed Abrams name to Abraham, meaning the father of a multitude, and Sarai’s name to Sarah, meaning princess. Sarah would bear Abraham a year later, a child, and they called him Isaac.
After Isaacs birth, Abraham sent Hagar and Ishmael away. Ishmael married among the Egyptian people {not of Yah} and had numerous children. It is from the linage of Ishmael that the Arab {Islamic} nations originate.
Yah came to Abraham a few years later; this would prove to be the supreme test of faith for Abraham. The Heavenly Father had asked Abraham to bring Isaac up upon a mountain, and prepare his son as a sacrifice to Yah. Abraham did as Yah had asked, but before the sacrifice was carried out an angel of God stopped Abraham, and a ram was used. Yah being pleased with Abraham, reconfirmed the promises, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, in blessing I will bless you, I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate {spiritually speaking, able to rebuke the devil} of their enemies. (In your seed) all the nations of the earth shall be blessed {health, wealth, etc.}, because you (have obeyed) My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws. [This applies to the present as well]
When Isaac took a wife, he was 40 years old. Her name was Rebekah, and was the daughter of Abraham’s nephew. See Genesis 22:23, 24-27

While living with his mother’s family Jacob, took for himself wives. 1[SUP]st[/SUP] was Leah, then Leahs sister Rachel. Jacob then took Rachel’s maid servant, Bilhah, as a wife, and then Leah’s maid servant, Zilpah. For twenty years Jacob lived with his uncle, and had eleven sons during this time.
In Genesis 31:3, we see where Yah tells Jacob to return to his parent’s home land Canaan. Shortly after God tells Jacob to go to Bethel, and dwell there, and to build an altar unto Yah. After leaving Bethel, Rachel, Jacobs’s second wife went into labor and gave birth to a son but, she died doing so. Now Jacob {Israel} has twelve sons. Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun were sons from Leah. Joseph and Benjamin were sons from Rachel. Dan and Naphtali were sons from Bilhah. Gad and Asher were sons from Zilpah.
Abraham had been told that he would produce many nations, that he would have a linage of kings, and would have national greatness. This promise was to be divided between two sons of Jacob. Judah was given the promise of a line of kings; {Gen. 49:10} the scepter shall not depart from Judah, until Shiloh {the Messiah} comes. Reuben, the first born of Israel, defiled his father’s bed, thus his birthright was given to the sons of Joseph {Gen. 48:4-6}. Joseph was the first born of Rachel’s two sons, and was shunned by his brothers. These same brothers sold Joseph to Midianites merchantmen who took him to Egypt. Joseph was bought and made to be a servant. He was later imprisoned, because Joseph was able to interpret a dream for the Pharaoh he was released from prison and placed in a position directly under Pharaoh. Joseph was given a wife, Asenath, the daughter of Potipherah, the priest of On. Asenath gave birth to twin boys, Joseph named them Manasseh, the first born, and Ephraim. After many years Jacob {Israel} informed Joseph that he was adopting Ephraim and Manasseh, and that they would be counted as his, and therefore they would be counted as among the tribes of Israel. Israel told Joseph that his older son Manasseh was to become a great people, but that Ephraim was to become a multitude of nations.

We have read a lot of promises, but can we show that they were kept?

It’s time to do a little more digging into the history of the Israelite people to help solve our question.

The Israelites as they were now being called, continued to live in Egypt, the Egyptian leader {Pharaoh} began to fear the Israelite people for they had grown into a great nation and were many people. He began placing them into bondage and they soon became slaves to the Egyptian people. About 400 years goes by, when Moses comes into the picture. Moses is to lead the Israelite people out of slavery and into a promised land. The story of Moses is in Exodus. Moses is also to bring law and order into the Israelite peoples, this is in Leviticus. As we read and study about the life and times of these people, we find them to be much like ourselves today. Idol worship then is the same now, only people don’t recognize it as such. Sex and perverse minds, and people continue not to follow Yah’s rules. Just as there are blessings for obedient behavior, there were consequences to pay for disobedience. Israel went into idolatry and forgot Gods Sabbaths and were punished as a nation. They were led into the Promised Land as they were told, but soon they were torn apart by their own self destruction. In the book of Judges we see the sins of Israel, and we see that God has allowed terrorist raids that disrupt Israel’s peace and its economy. As we get into 1 Kings, we see that the Israelites have broken into two nations, ten tribes to the north and three to the south. Two hundred more years go by and we see that the northern ten tribes have total disregard for Yah. The consequences were inevitable, for they had been warned centuries earlier that seven times punishment would come upon them for disobedience. In about 800 BC, the armies of the Assyrian Empire invaded the northern kingdom and took them captive. However, they were offered a chance to repent, turn away from their life style, but they refused and as a consequence the northern ten tribes were relocated to different lands. Judah, the Levites, and Benjamin remained to the south; they were later taken captive in 586 BC to the Babylonians. Judah, the Levites, and Benjamin would remain in the same land area and would later be jointly called Jews, Jewish, and or the Jewish people. They would inherit the land that we now call Israel.
In 1948 AD, Israel was officially recognized as a nation. They are often referred to as God’s chosen people which is not altogether true. Judaism is a religion {period}, not something inherited. [If you will study the history of the land, you will find 90% of Israel’s Jewish people migrated into this land.

I hope you’re able to keep up with me on what I have covered so far as I’m only skimming the surface and hitting on key points or topics. My purpose is not to go into detail, but to bring you aware of this material and to let you search the scriptures to prove for yourself. II Timothy 2:15 tells us; “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
We can see that Judah’s promise has been fulfilled, the promise of a line of kings {King David for one, and down through this lineage we get to Yasha the messiah.} and is to be a spiritual leader. This lineage is fairly easy to see and follow. But what about the so called lost ten tribes? Can we find where they have gone, or are they really lost in time? We are able to see and follow by using recorded history and the Bible to see what happened to Judah, Levi and Benjamin. Can we also use our historic material and the Bible to follow and find the rest of the tribes?

In captivity, Israel lost its national name. They even gave up their sign of identity that Yah had established with them [keeping the Sabbath]. The Israelites have for the most part been lost in time, as far as man is concerned, but they for sure have not been lost by the Heavenly Father. He has even told us in scripture where we can find them. But it’s going to take a little detective work on our part to put the pieces of the puzzle together to find them. It will require the use of the Bible, a few good history books, encyclopedias and an open mind, but most of all the willingness to see the obvious.
Notice the message Yah inspired the prophet Amos to write prior to Israel being taken captive. “Behold, the eyes of the Lord God are on the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from the face of the earth; yet I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, for surely I will command, and will sift the house of Israel among all nations, as grain is sifted in a sieve; yet not the smallest grain shall fall to the ground” {Amos 9:8-9}.
The Assyrians took Samaria after a three year battle. The ten-tribed Israel was then deported into the northern lands. In 1 Kings 16 we learn of Omri and his rise to power. While in power he established his laws in the Israelite capital of Samaria. The statutes of Omri included pagan religious practices. 150 years after Omri’s death, the prophet Micah still referred to Israel as keeping the statutes of Omri. The Assyrians even went so far as to call the People of Israel by the name of Bit Omri [Khumrt] {Langer’s Encyclopedia of World History, 1968 edition}.
Much of what we know of the great empires and kingdoms of old comes to us by the writings of the Greek, Roman, and Latin historians as well as monuments with their inscriptions.

The Bible tells us that the Israelites who were taken captive by the Assyrians were settled near the river Gozan and in the cities of the Medes. The cities of the Medes were in the area just south of Armenia, between the Black and Caspian Seas. In the book of 2 Esdras is written the tradition that had been preserved among the Jews. { Esdras is part of the apocryphal which was written about 100 years before Christ.} Those are the ten tribes, which were carried away prisoners out of their own land, and he carried them over the waters, and so came they into another land. But they took his [Shalmaneser, a pagan priest] counsel among themselves, that they should leave the multitude of the heathen, and go forth into a further country, where never mankind dwelt, and they entered into Euphrates by the narrow passages of the river. They went northward through the narrow mountain passes of the headwaters of the Euphrates. This took them north of the Caucasus Mountains and on to the northern shore of the Black Sea. This is where history places the Cimmerians, who later traveled up the Danube and Rhine River basins into northwestern Europe. In the book “History of France from Earliest Times to 1848" the Israelites are referring to themselves as Kymrians and or Kimrians. On the western banks of the Black sea in the Cimmerian peninsula, to this day, people are called Crimea. Called Gauls or Celts in Rome, these people spread through what is modern France and into the British Isles. The periods of this migration into northwestern Europe were after the Assyrian invasions, and repeated again some 400 years later. In 331 BC, Alexander the Great defeated the Medes and the Persians. The Israelites who were still in the area of the Medes were now free to leave. {Note: this marks 390 years from the fall of Samaria to the overthrow of the Medes 721 BC - 331 BC, the exact period that Ezekiel had prophesied for the House of Israel in Ezekiel 4:5}. Scythian is yet another name the exiled Israelites were known, the Greek historian Herodotus tells us the Persians called them Sacae that was the name given to all the Scythians [The Persian Wars, Vol VII]. The Israelites are ancestors of Isaac, and this is the origin of the names Scotland, Saxon and Scandinavia.
We can see that the ten tribes of Northern Israel were removed from their homeland in the eighth century before Christ, and relocated to different areas. Losing their identity, they became known through time and history by many names. Cymri, Celts, Seyths are just a few. Today we can trace the movements of these peoples guided by ancient records, from the Black Sea to the British Isles and northern Europe.
Throughout the ten centuries from Rome’s collapse until the fifteenth century, Europe was totally dominated by the Catholic Church and was for the most part in poverty, ignorant of the Old Testament, and New Testament writings, and were in constant warfare. This 1000 year period has traditionally been called the Dark Ages. In the late 1400's Martin Luther set out to separate himself and many of his followers from the Catholic Church. This was the beginning of the protestant era. An awareness of Yah’s {God} role in English history started a newfound interest in the Scriptures. This new interest resulted in the translation and widespread teaching of the Bible during the King James period.
The following decades show England emerged in possession of the vast British Empire. It was so vast that it is said the sun never set on any of England’s territory, and that over one quarter of the world’s land and people were under British rule by the end of the 19[SUP]th[/SUP] century. The United States by the 1800's had completely spanned the North American Continent. The British Empire had become the greatest company of nations, and today the United States is known as the single greatest and most powerful nation in the entire world. England emerged to rule the greatest and most extensive empire that the world had ever seen. That empire developed into a company of nations held together by an allegiance to a common crown. This shows the fulfillment of the ancient promise that Jacob claimed for his grandson Ephraim.

Yah made a promise to King David of ancient Israel. Speaking through Nathan the prophet, Yah told David: “ When your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne forever. I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. My mercy shall not depart from him, and your house and your kingdom shall be established forever before you. Your throne shall be established forever “{2 Samuel 7:12-16}. The prophesy that Yah inspired in Ezekiel 17, starts out by posing a riddle that describes an eagle coming to a large cedar tree. Cutting through the chase to the meaning, Irish history records the prophet Jeremiah and his scribe Baruch coming to Ireland after the fall of Judah with a princess and the coronation stone. The princess was named Tea Tephi. She married the son of the High King of Ireland. Their descendants reigned from Tara in Ireland for many centuries. Later they transferred their place of rule to Scone in Scotland. This same dynasty continues on down to today in the person of Queen Elizabeth II, a direct descendant of Tea Tephi, and her husband. Yah has fulfilled His promises to King David like He said He would.
The immigrants who settled the United States were from Europe, mostly British Isles and Western Germany. We have already seen that these people were Israelites. Prophesy was made by Amos that the House of Israel would be sifted through the nation like corn through a sieve [Amos 9:9]. In studying American history we see where this land was both bought and fought for until we get to where we are today. The prophesy of Israel {Jacob} to his grandson Manasseh, that his descendants would become the greatest single nation, has been fulfilled in the United States of America.

(NOTE; In case you missed it… The USA is now “SPIRITUAL ISRAEL”, the Promised Land, the land of Yahweh’s people. All the tribes of Israel are located here). Study your history as it really happened and not the politically correct version. The United States is the only nation referred to as a totally Israelite nation. Israel to be regathered, just as the scattering of the people of Israel was prophesied. The Bible also prophesied that the people of Israel would be regathered to the land of Israel.
Ezek. 37:15-28 15. The word of the Lord came again unto me, saying, 16. Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions. Then take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and for all the house of Israel his companions: 17. And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become one in thine hand. 18. And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee, saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest by these? 19. Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his fellows, and will put them with him, even with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in mine hand. 20. And the sticks whereon thou writest shall be in thine hand before their eyes. 21. And say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God; Behold, I will take the children of Israel from among the heathen, whither they be gone, and will gather them on every side, and bring them into their own land: 22. And I will make them one nation in the land upon the mountains of Israel; and one king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all. 23. Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God. 24. And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. 25. And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever. 26. Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them for evermore. 27. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 28. And the heathen shall know that I the Lord do sanctify Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
