Muslim women often wear Burkhas to discourage male attention. Rather than dress scantily these women often feel it is their duty to cover their faces and bodies with very modest dress.

I read the bible and it speaks about such things and condones modesty in dress.

You are a christian? So I don't understand why this practice gets your negative attention.

IF the reason they dress this way IS BECAUSE THEY CHOSE to, then God bless them...........HOWEVER we all know that in many countries IF THEY DON'T DRESS THIS WAY, they will be beaten and/or even beheaded or hung........

Let us not believe that the women living under the oppressive Laws of Islam do so with joy in their hearts........

What about the people living under oppressive forms of Christianity, or secular law? All extremism is negative because it causes suffering of those who are forced to live under it.

Like these men whom the original poster addresses, the terrorists, many of whom would have been in their teens when NATO was bombing their villages with drones, they too lived under an oppression, just like those people whom the terrorists before these killed for their oppressive ends.

War breeds war as hatred breeds hatred as killing breeds killing as oppression breeds resistance breeds cynicism breeds its own oppression, as spite breeds spite and so forth and so on without end.

The forcible method of today leads to perpetual ill-feeling that never cessates.

if only one party chooses to love those who hate them then this circle is broken, eye for eye becomes eye for no reaction. If one person chooses to douse the flame with kind words or gentle understanding rather than feed it with fuel then this circle is broken.

Without the individual who chooses to break it, it will never break.
