Yo.. I'm going to have a presentation of Judaism at school. And I'm wondering if you know any texts in the old testament (tanách) Jews interpret differently than Christians? And I'm going to compare Christianity and Judaism in how their views of death, hell and salvation differ. Basically I'm just gonna discuss the different interpretations and views from Judaism and Christianity...

If you got something I would appreciate that.. Thank you :)

Turns out that Jews do not believe in eternal punishment.. here's an argument I found:

Ecclesiastes 12:7 Then shall the dust return to
the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return
unto Gd who gave it.

It says, 'the spirit returns to Gd,' not the 'Good Spirit,' and not even 'the Jewish Spirit.' Jews do not believe that only Jews go to heaven.

Furthermore, if 'the dust returns to dust,' meaning that the physical ends, how can the tortures of a Christian hell be only physical, when there is no body to be tortured??

I think that was a pretty good argument, does anyone have some counterarguments? :)

Ezek. 37:12-14. In Messiah's time, Jews will rise from the dead, and be returned to the land. There will either be a new body then, or else the old body does not really disintegrate.
