last movie i watched was "Xi you xiang mo pian" -- a fairly goofy and very pro-buddhist kung fu movie from 2013. it was entertaining, and had its moments, but not something i'd really recommend to anyone.
one nice thing about it was that in the end, it made the point that faith was greater than all adversity stronger than all apparent strength, and wiser than worldly wisdom - even though it made this point from a buddhist perspective.
I think that I saw that, the traditional (just off the boat) love that kind of movie. The monk had the front half of their head shaven, is that the one.

At a theater? (We can't do indoor theaters, but we used to go to the drive-in): Aladdin Prince of Persia
. There are still drive in's. [my iPad wouldn't respond to touch so I couldn't remove the underline]

I am way too scared to watch that. I heard so many people cried during it. I don't think I will, but....I don't want to risk it :p

I just saw San Andreas.
The Rock flies helicopters and goes into hand to hand combat with the San Andreas Fault.

I think there's a plot somewhere in there, but l was too busy watching
The Rock pick up things while stuff was blowing up.

Sorry, l wish l could give you more info.

Hmmm. must find this "War Room". If Willie AND LiJo like it, it MUST be good. :p (Seriously, I respect you both! :))

The last one I watched in its entirety was "Let God" on Christian Tube (YouTube channel). All I will say is that it has a cool twist at the end.

Where in the world do you find $1 movies anymore? I haven't seen any in 15 years.
They have 1 here in Maine....You just have to wait until the movie is a few months old, then go to the movie theatre that shows them for $1.....Just a couple years ago, I found a drive in theatre that charged $15 for a carload of people....I am surprised I didn't see people being smuggled in inside trunks....lol I think the cap per car was 7 people....

That looked so good! I still need to see it. -_-
I loved it. It's not as funny as most DreamWorks movies (like Kung Fu Panda, etc) but it's so original! I think.

It's a tear-jerker but my tears didn't really overflow on this one. It's not as emotional as Finding Nemo! lol. Now that I think about it, the last animated film that made me cry like a mess was How to Train Your Dragon 2. This one's okay, shiney! :)

For the longest time the Tri-City Plaza movies had a early movies for $4.00 and then they went to $6.00 but they tore it down to build the new stores and aren't going to bring it back....Makes me very sad...it was just across the street from where we live.

Years ago, we went to Tri-City a lot when it was $1.

Last movie was Avengers: Age of Ultron. The most recent was Ant Man, I think. These Marvel movies really aren't very good, but I can't seem to stop myself from enjoying them. D:

I may watch Interstellar again pretty soon - maybe tonight.
