Of course not. Violence only begets violence. But if an officer wants to make it home night after night he must be prepared to act with quick brutality. Because he may have just pulled over a guy whose tail light is out. He may be completely unaware the guy just robbed a convenience store. The officer is trying to give a warning, but the driver will try to murder the officer.
