Forgot the butter. My mom grew up on a farm, in Ukraine, and butter, milk, sour cream, dairy eggs, were abundant, always had a lot of these, and a lot lot more butter on top of bread to go with the soup. Fish, soup, and Sorrel soups, but no shortage on butter. I remember mom takng half of the butter for one piece of bread, well she deserved it, she was the cook, every day. lol th.jpg th.jpg
