Let's talk about dreams

Hi all,
I suggest a discussion about dreams.
First some questions.
Do you remember your dreams when you wake up in the morning?
Do you have more than one dream each night?
Do you think dream can get a special message for you by God or are just a brain processing of your life past experiences?
Do you keep a journal of your dreams?
Did you ever go to one of those sites that suggest meaning of the words found in your dream (dream dictionary) to try to understand the meaning of your dream?
Do you think that believe to these sites is a sin?

Sometimes, but if I do then it probably doesn't last for long half the time and I end up forgetting about it.


Do you have more than one dream each night?

Usually, no. If I dream then it could be a mixture of different events within one dream, otherwise it's set onto one thing and then I'll wake up and if going back to sleep not dream again.


Do you think dream can get a special message for you by God or are just a brain processing of your life past experiences?

Both. Dreams often reflect what has happened during the day and inner feelings you've either yet to express or refuse to. Sometimes supernatural things can happen while one dreams and usually they're more so vivid to the point you don't even think you were dreaming.


Do you keep a journal of your dreams?

No. When I do dream about something I find interesting I can tell someone at least but that's usually how far it goes.


Did you ever go to one of those sites that suggest meaning of the words found in your dream (dream dictionary) to try to understand the meaning of your dream?

Yes. Lots of people use dream moods and when looking up certain words that implies as to what has happened in your dream it could have one consider the meaning behind it that implies with their own situation(s).


Do you think that believe to these sites is a sin?

Not really sure. I don't agree with everything that it can tell you, but in the end it's how you take these dreams and what you're really wanting to listen to behind the message of it.

do i think that believing in these sites is a sin? i don't know, if you start to depend on them and can't get by without them, then yes. if they start to take you away from God, then yes. if you start to put your trust in dream sites to tell you some secret about yourself, then yes.

i think that dreams can be a gift from God. I have always had really vivid dreams. I can still remember ones that I had as a little kid. mostly scary ones, but still. God appeared to people in dreams in the bible, why should we think he doesn't communicate with us the same way now? that doesn't mean that all dreams are from God, some dreams are just nothing.

Dear friends I'm going to answer to the questions too:
Do you remember your dreams when you wake up in the morning?
I can say always and they often were very useful to me to understand me, people next to me and how to act in some circumstances.
Do you have more than one dream each night?
Yes it happened to me to have 3 or 4 dreams a night. I don't know if it happens because of my severe pain that doesn't permit me to have deep and long sleep. I awake often during night.
Do you think dream can get a special message for you by God or are just a brain processing of your life past experiences?
sometimes my dreams are simple a rearrangement of what I did in the previous day but often they haven't any link with my past experiences and I think the last ones are true messages. An example God sent me a message though a dream about forgiving me of sins I did in the past.
Do you keep a journal of your dreams?
Yes a kind of. I think it's important to keep dreams recorded in a paper so you can read then if you need and find in them an help for life issues.

Yes so many times I don't remember. I'm a really curious woman so everything is new is like ice cream to me.

Don't know about this, I wish to find some answer in the Bible. When I look for the words in such sites, I put together all the words of my dream and I try to find myself the real meaning of the dream. Hope not to sin doing this because I want to go to heaven.
