Marijuana and Faith

Hi. I am just curious if there are any marijuana smokers within the body of Christ, and if there are any who have quit because of whatever reason after coming to Christ. I know it can be dangerous, also know that it can also help the believer. Hoping to hear from those who smoke it(if any) and would value your input on why it helps you. Thanks

I used to self medicate myself when i was sick of a chronic rheumatic disease. When God healed me after 2 years I stopped.
I find it dangerous as a christian to take any mind altering drugs due to spiritual doors it opens especially when u do it regularly. I can understand it tho if someone is in pain 24/7 or has fatigue or so, and medically uses it.

I don't smoke it, and I only know a few Christians that do. I grew up in the emerald triangle though, so I know many(non Christians) who grow and use it. High THC content pot is for getting high. Low THC and high CBD pot is for medicinal uses. Any who use the former for medicinal uses and tries to justify it(for pain, for example)is not only lying, but denying themselves more effective treatment. While high THC pot may work for pain, the mind-altering effect is reason enough not use it-for Christians, anyway.
