I like the way you told the story; at least your sense of humor wasn't damaged. My husband and I call those types of days TEST DAYS. You made an A+.

At least you are listening and looking for the signs/words from the Father. I will be praying that if He was trying to get your attention you will know clearly. Meanwhile, hope the steak was done to perfection and you and your husband can have a good laugh at the human escapades. I know that the heat wasn't fun and I hear dog slobber is good for the complexion

Haha if dog slobber is good for the complexion I may have to bath in it regularly. The steak was done to perfection,I think he took extra care.lol I do try to hear Gods voice even in mundane circumstances because sometimes I learn a lesson, however small it may be.

We have the blessing of living in front of one cousin and beside another. They both haves keys to our house and we have keys to theirs. Once, my youngest sister was off of work and took the trash can to the road, inadvertantly locking herself out of the house. She walked to my cousin's to get a key, and was embarrassed when my cousin's little boy said to her "When the sun comes up, we take our pajamas off." Lol.

Lol,kids do say the funniest things!

Lol I put it on FB and hubby saw it and thought he'd better get on and apologize. But he put a gif of a little puppy shaking its head and it read "no,not my fault". Men! sigh Now he owes me a massage!!
Based on the adage "All's Well That Ends Well", I would say that - perhaps - all is well that ends with a good steak and a massage... :D
