why is it people here try to make you come to the lord and accept him as ur saviour and when you do some of them question how much you actually love jesus how your not taking it serious or they just completely make you feel bad etc..i dont need to compete with anyone and jesus knows how much i do love him even though i have a lot of doubtful questions..i just dont no why people are being so mean tbh -_- it was better when i didnt have jesus in life.

If people here are being mean, maybe leave christianchat? Or report them?

Oh, I sure hope you don't leave, Bonnie =(. I'd feel sad if you did; I want you to enjoy being here. I agree to report weirdos and rude people (you can copy/paste what they say to you in a moderator's PM box if you're in the chat room). There are rules here, and it kind of depends of HOW rude people are being. Since it's a private site, the owner makes the rules, and you haven't broken any rules at all that I've seen. People shouldn't be demanding that you tell them how much you love Jesus or anything. It's very normal to have questions.

There are just some really judgmental people on here. Some of them remind me of Pharisee's, they run around judging other peoples walks, while acting holier than thou and putting demands on how people must act and believe to be saved, and if you don't measure up to their way of thinking, then they judge you as not being saved.
Best thing to do is ignore them. If one of them questions you, don't even respond, you don't owe them any explanation. I've had some of them do the same to me. They are not worth your time, or energy. I would not suggest leaving the site, bad advice given there. Fact is all your life you're going to face difficult people and you can't keep running from all of them. Sometimes you have to learn how to deal with them.

The problem is people, not Jesus. It may seem like life was better before Jesus, but its really not Jesus that makes it difficult now. It's self-righteous people.

A lot of people play "religion." Religion can't save anyone. And when you make comments like,
"it was better when i didnt have jesus in life", you just answered your own question.
I just can't figure out why anyone would doubt you, after saying something like that.

i know people do.. kind of explains this quote..going to church doesnt make you a christian any more then standing in a garage makes you a car..
re reading it now it does sound bad but i wasnt tryng to make it sound like i dont want jesus in my life i was just trying to explain that it was easier when i didnt have to try and prove my realationship with him..im aware i dont no much about him or the bible but everyone here started of where i am..sorry if this post offeneds anyone..i just dont see why some people have to question someone elses realationship with him

I thought that was what you meant, Bonnie; that other people seemed nicer to you before you said that you wanted to follow Jesus, not that you wished that you didn't have Him in your life now. Like i said, these types of people exist everywhere. Even outside of Christian circles, its just those people find other ways to judge people than through religion. Some people are just like that for whatever reason. Dealing with people like this is just a part of life. Pharisee's did the same to Jesus himself, so why wouldn't modern pharisee's do it to you?

Hi Bonnie, people are just that way. Jesus was accused of being a devil, and He is the Messiah. Continue to grow in Christ at your own pace. Read your bible and study the scriptures. Don't worry about people. That's just how they are.

BonnieSmiles; Jilly told me about you receiving Christ Jesus as your Saviour. I already feel a bit touched to tears now, mostly because I find it so beautiful whenever people receive Christ Jesus into their lives, and wants to be living for Him. It is also so good that you have decided this being in such a young age too. I can understand it won't always be easy for you. But you have to just keep on trusting in Jesus, depend more on what He says and how He thinks of you the most.

I am sorry you have met others that are questioning your faith so much in a negative way. I too have encountered such ones, two of them I thought were good friends of mine. It is painful meeting such people, and you should have in mind that people that acts this way aren't being the way Jesus is. As if you act out from Jesus example, you will act out from His love towards others. And especially when someone is new in faith, we have to take care of new beleivers, and helping them in their first steps of faith. Untill you have managed getting more stronger foundated in the faith as well as in the Word(the bible), so that you are able of standing strong also by yourself in Christ Jesus. Those who suddenly turn their backs to you and deny even to help building you up in your new started faith life in Jesus Christ, they are not following Jesus Christ's example at all.

Just have in mind, that there will always come people in here that doesn't have Christ's example in mind and heart, but there are also many who do are this way. I am happy Jilly have told you to message her if you need to talk. Know that I too support you, and know that there might be many more who does this too in here. As well as Jesus Christ is the biggest supporter you can have of us all. Keep on holding unto your faith given in Him, do not let anyone ever take it away from you. -God Bless-
