Their money? My money?
I thought it was the Lord's money.
I have always looked at everything that I have belongs to God.
Where did you get the money? God gave it to you? Its yours...God gave it to the preacher? It's his. God gave me a house. Its MY house.

If you give all you have back to God that's not bad. But until you do, its yours. He gave it to YOU.

I am wary of super rich preachers and mega churches with lots of huge masses and income but I also don't just assume they are up to no good. I judge the fruit not the money or the size of the church
Well There are a few out there than are just out for money but the majority are good. Fruits...as you say.

How can a man buy a $80,000 car, a $2000 suit, and a Rolex watch when kids are starving to death every day?
I don't understand such selfishness.

Why are they expected to share the blessings of their obedience? With people who can just as easily apply the word and get the same result..

Who gives to those who don't help themselves? Some poor are that way because they mismanage their life..

Somehow common sense leaves when this topic comes up.. Tax payers can get mad because their hard earned money goes to public welfare, but let a preacher get too rich and they are accosted for not sharing..

Who holds the scales on what's fair? You? They can easily out give us percentage wise.. but the $ are what your eyes are caught on.. evil eye, how dark is your darkness?

In Guatamala I'm sure you're rich, what could you give more than you do??? They could cast the stone you throw

Wealth and surplus are relative
Am I the only one that questions the motives of preachers that become multi-millionaires ?
I don't expect them to live in poverty, but really!!!

LOL Why don't you put your entire paycheck into the coffers for the poor? Then you can say they are being selfish Does that work for you? LOL You just finished saying that many of them put massive amounts into those coffers....

Sorry brother, but is see it differently.
He lets me use it for His honor and glory, not to buy luxuries that please the flesh.

idk bout that i'd say the majority are money hungry and very few maybe good but thats imo. Satan still runs this world & as far as wealth goes that's his lane. I'm sure he willing to pay off preachers alot of money to mislead Gods people

Quit crying about what's not fair.. God made plenty of people rich and wrote no account of personally making sure they know to give what people think is enough... They aren't accountable to you.. stop judging another's servant.. you think this will go unaddressed? You fool yourself

As if money is the answer.. God can do anything and you cry about money? Your value system is messy.

Pray, spread the Gospel.. do something fruitful

You have to be very careful not to let envy come into your heart, because Jesus said not to envy the rich, or sinners that are rich, because their reward they already have. you can rest easy of that. I had to get that envy out of my heart. it took some doing, but i achieved it. The moral of the story is. store your treasures in heaven where they count, and no man can steal them .and not on earth where thieves break in. They might even take your life.

Where to start---
I drive a 1978 truck that I bought in 1990.
My wife drives a 1980 SUV that we bought in 1999.
We raise our own food.
We buy sugar, coffee, flower, salt, and cooking oil at WalMart. Not much else.
We buy most of our cloths at the thrift store.
We have never taken a vacation in 37 years of marriage.
We live in a house that we built ourselves, paying as we go.
We have no electricity, no cable TV.
I do have satellite internet.
I serve as pastor of a church and receive no pay. I count it a blessing.
I made $81,000 last year.
I paid $24,000 in taxes, $14,000 for Health Ins. and gave $20,000 to my church.

Now it's your turn.
