There is always a certain sadness when i see people go, but as some said, u dont have to close ur account. Whatever ur experience was, u may choose to stay away a few days or weeks, then see u miss us after all, ha2. Although people talk all the time abt the sad and bad things that go on here, some do not experience much of that i guess, for lack of much time to look into all those threads! I may want to reply to a thread, but for lack of time, it passes by unanswered, and that way i dont get into trouble=).
Thank you for that. My experience was not due to any particular event... I just didn't like the " old me" showing up. All is well with my soul...

how does sarcasm line up with the fruit of the Spirit?
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control?
It doesn't...that's my point.

1. Don't ask to be removed from the user list on here. Many people have done the same thing, and yet changed their minds later. I'm one of those, and honestly? God changed my mind for me. (I'm fairly isolated from people, yet hubby had a heart attack and needed prayers. If that's not God changing my mind, I don't know what is.) The worse that happens, is if you never come back, you're user name (and avatar) stay on here so we remember you better.

2. I don't blame you for leaving. I think this site does the exact same thing to roughly 97% of the people who join. AND, I'm being conservative in my estimates. So, if God is convicting you to leave, please do. Really a tough path to resist God's conviction.

BUT... for future use or even now, something to consider...

3. God is using this site as my training field. Yupyupyup. I am the queen of sarcastic. I can trump your sarcasm and up the ante. And, half the time I don't feel bad about it. Sarcasm isn't sin. How we use it might be. BUT I used to be one of the always-arguers. I still have flareups of that. And yet God is training me to be something else. He training me to be that loving, supportive person he wants me to be, while still using my ain't-no-lady side that will tell it like it is. I'm a hard nut to crack, but he's working on me, and he's using this site as-is to hone me. Consider the possibility he might be wanting the same from you. If not today, some day in the future.

BTW, for what it's worth. I never saw you as the arguing sarcastic type. Granted, wasn't following you around, but assuming it happened, it didn't happen all the time. Kudos on that much!
Thank you for the advice...it is greatly appreciated. But for me, it's a matter of obedience.

Kristal - Thank you for your testimony lifting up the Lord Jesus Christ. We will miss you, what prompted the choice to leave? Can I ask what plans you have for fellowship in your ongoing relationship with God; outside of CC? I forget your involvement in other areas of fellowship is all. How can we pray for you in the future? Anything?
My prompt was the change I saw in myself... none other. As far as fellowship, I have a church I attend and some strong Christian friends and family. My greatest fellowship is with Jesus. He's all I need.

Sister JoDel First of all!! ( Rom 8:1!!) Second of all, tell me a believer who has not had a bad day or two?? LOL Sister I to have made some mistakes upon this fine chat site, and the easy thing would be for me to leave, but that is what this site is really for in the first place!!( 2 Cor 13:5!!) Everyday I come on here in some form because I know how important it is to mature.

It does not matter if you have been in the Lord for some 33 years as I have or 33 days! ( Phil 1:6) We are all dear sister a work in progress! I hope you will reconsider because in truth we can hide from here, but we cannot hid from the fact of what we all truly need sis,and that is the very need, to become needed!!

I remember in my Church when I first started attending I really was not to fond of many of the people there, and so I thought I will just not go for a while,no one will miss me! After the first sunday miss,a knock on the door of my house came,I opened it,and there stood two of the people I least cared for by my door!! LOL UNTIL!!!! They said we know you do not care for some of the people here brother, but many of us missed you, meaning that everyday, whether you realize it or not people have the need to be needed and you are brother,so we hope you will join us again!

And so it is sister here as well, many whom you do not even know will miss your company! And you will miss the whole point of joining us here. There is no one who is perfect, but everyone is needed! A foundational scripture sister which has helped me so much during troubled times in both mind and spirit is this one from Psalm 27:13 which says

"I would have despaired unless I had believed I would see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living." His goodness can run through each of us daily sis, because to the Lord we are all needed by him!! Hence why it takes no effort anymore for you and I to always remain thankful!!( 1 Thess 5:18!!!) Blessing sis!

It's okay there's a time for everything
May you find in Jesus much meaning
No matter the next road of your adventure
Whether it be made of literal tar
Or internet cables or travelling physically far
I will hope good for you as you did for me, praise God

but whether you watch tv or go on a website like this as long as you don't let it distract you from doing right by God then you can do such things, for as Jesus said"my grace is sufficient for thee" meaning you need not worry about what you have done or what others do to afflict you,Jesus will bring you through whatever is troubling or trying to trouble you, leaving a simple website over what you may have done,is not trusting in Jesus's grace,I pray that Satan has not put doubt into your mind for he will make you feel guilty or feel bad about yourself,God would never tell you to leave anywhere just for doing one mere sin,I truly hope this is God calling you and that you do sincerely want to do what you have a mind to do,because if your heart isn't in this then you are headed for more trouble...

Amen..The overflowing grace of God has no limits, and we have to set no limits on it, but "grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." Keep your friendships close to you, then, and Chow-4-Now in Christ.

Lovingly, joyfully, patiently, kindly, and some are good'ns. (I think this might be such a case.)

See? Sarcasm's bite can either be used for humor or self-deprecation.

I kind of see it like smirking. I know it's supposedly to hurt another person, but I love the curmudgeonly way of doing either that gives the humor between a NJ Giants fan and a Philadelphia Eagles fan. As long as both sides know it's just a game, it's quite fun. Sort of like Yo-mama jokes. They're not really aimed at the mothers, but the absurdity tries to be one-upmanship. When done right, by the end, the two sides are laughing together.
