Today my family had a little going away part for my aunt at a restaurant. While we were saying our goodbyes outside, a man ran from the restaurant and into the street. I assumed he may have walked across to eat, as he was in business casual attire, and had gotten an emergency call. That or I had just seen an eat and run take place. A few minutes later, the manager and a young man ran outside. The young man was in tears, and they were talking frantically. The man said that it was his brother who had run away, and he was mentally disabled. My cousin has autism, so I immediately understood how severe the issue was. I wanted to go ask if I could help, but the manager had quickly taken the man to his car so that they could go look for him. I prayed to God that he would allow me to help in some way, to allow my family and I to find this man because we knew how to handle it. Thankfully my parents were just as concerned, and we agreed to look for him.The area the restaurant is in has a lot of streets around it, neighborhoods that have several twists and turns, and to our fear, a river. I kept praying and praying as we turned down each road, and then we saw him. He had stopped running and was strolling down the street. We got him to stop and talk to us for a bit, but when we brought up the restaurant he shook his had and said "No, that was some other guy.". He went on walking and we followed him, and dialed 911 who had already been informed by the manager. Thankfully some time was spared as he stopped to talk to a mailman, and after he started to journey off again, the police arrived. The man had apparently began to run away again(and very fast, he made it down another street in the matter of seconds.), but thankfully when we spotted him again, the police had gotten him. I wasn't too happy knowing that he had most likely been tackled down, and he had been handcuffed, but I knew it was for the best and I was beyond joyful that he was safe. My mom and I went over to him, he was crying heavily and the two police men seemed to only be agitated with the situation, saying that they' had to "deal with him before". I noticed a birthday ribbon on his shirt and I smiled and knelt down in front of him. I asked him if it was his birthday, and if he had a party. At first he was still upset, but he began to calm down as my mom and I continued to talk to him in a pleasant manner. I told him that he could be a professional runner, and he informed us that his father was in the Service for 11 years. Eventually the firetruck and ambulance showed up, along with the manager and his brother. We told him that his brother was okay, and that the medics were going to take him to the hospital(as he had asked to go there). He hugged us in tears and kept thanking us, and told us a bit about what had happened. I am completely convinced that this was a miracle from God, and that he answered my prayers. The man could have been anywhere, but we found him, and we were able to help him. I am so grateful that our God is so loving and caring, and gave us the ability to keep that man safe.

While this is a nice story, i would see this more of a coincidence. Just me though
