Not all that they have Jesus saying is in the NT, but is fictionalized.
Just a little math here.

The Bible has Jesus speaking about 6,600 words in His entire three year ministry.

That's about 1,095 days

6,600 words divided by 1,095 days is 6 words a day.

We know He spoke MANY more words than 6 on some days.

This would leave Him not uttering a single, solitary, sound for months and months on end.

Wouldn't make for much of a move.... nor much of a ministry.

Personally, what I saw of the movie before I just turned it off wasn't very good (but good film work and drama), so of course they have to have Him saying SOMETHING.
Well no life of anyone covers every minute of every day, including the life of Jesus in Scripture.

But biographies should not fictionalize the record and present themselves as true representations.

I just can't do fictionalized versions of Christ Jesus, or of any Scripture, which take the liberty of putting natural human thinking and values in the mouth of Jesus.

I didn't care for it!
Most of the words that Jesus said in the movie was created from the writers mind.
That is what I find so objectionable.

As if humans can improve on the mind of Jesus.

Balderdash!

Forgive me...let me say, I didn't watch the crucification scene, so I can't say how factual that was. My brother said Kelcey Grammar had a role? Are you kidding me? Whose next Jay Leno as a prophet? Cmon Hollywood! Sheesh!
Love your avatar. . .
