This recent election was a demonstrable case of racial politics and before you get into your own rant disagreeing listen to my case.

Obama polled 96% of blacks 67% of Latinos, 75% of the Jews and even 80% of "Asians"(granted Asians do not make up a big section of the voting public but they do represent a more wealthy sub group.) In fact of the voters for Obama fewer than 50% were white. Romney's only big victory was in the white male grouping where he won with 80%. This cannot continue if the republicans want to continue to be a major party.

The census tells us that whites will stop being the majority of Americans by 2050. So the republican base is shrinking. Until that actually happens the difference between the parties will only be getting wider not smaller.

Back in 1800 the white male group was the only group who was allowed to vote. So attempting to get anyone else to vote was a waste of effort and was not done by anyone.

If the republican party wants to continue to be a major party it needs to ensure that more people from the other racial groups are represented in their policy choices, in their campaigning and that they actually represent their points of view.
