create.jpg

Create something. You are partnering with The Creator.

Just a doodle might destroy a stronghold. A sketch might give substance to a prayer, and a sculpture might be a prayer to intercede.
An act might release His power, and a dance release His love. A poem might display His beauty and knitting might knit people together.
A drawing might draw people to Jesus, and a song might allow space for a tear, or bring peace to a disturbed mind.

Create with your voice. Create with your body. Create with your hands. Create with food. Create with gardens. Create a new way to bless someone. Pray creatively.

Ask God to bless your imagination, and then watch what happens.

Empowered.jpg

He will strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being. Eph. 3:16-17
The Holy Spirit is:
In us
Around us
Behind us
Beside us
Before us
Under us
Over us
Through us

  • Making choices – pray with your indwelling Counselor
  • Daily stress – wrap yourself in the indwelling Comforter
  • Difficult situations – call on the Helper
  • Hurting relationships – trust the One who stands at God’s right hand – your Intercessor
  • Mistakes – you have an Advocate
  • Life’s too heavy – draw on your Strengthener
  • Just can’t go on – lean on the Standby

Explore.jpg

Webster’s definition of explore:
To look at (something) in a careful way to learn more about it.
To study or analyze something.
To talk or think about in a thoughtful and detailed way.
To learn about something by trying it.

In exploring, it is good to use all your senses – smell, hearing, taste, seeing and touching.
Sometimes we get so mental about things, these God given personal explorers are overlooked.
Even your home can be newly explored. Or your garden. Let the cleaning go and just have fun exploring.

wait.jpg

Waiting is not something that is easy to do. But it does help to look at it from a different perspective.

Take hold of the thought that whatever you are waiting for is also waiting for you.

During a time of impatiently waiting for my gums to heal after surgery and it seemed to go so slow, I had this thought; “Healing is waiting for your body to catch up”. Somehow the waiting didn’t seem so endless, and I had a clearer picture of the healing being there. Now I use that perception on everything.

The money I need is waiting for the right time to be there. My next teaching is waiting to be revealed. And on a lighter note, the beach is waiting for me to be there.

We all need this one:
God is waiting to answer your prayer in a perfect way.

Yeah but no one wants to see a stick cat. Red Bird is cute, but my stick cat would be... pathetic.. lol

Loved 2.jpg Feather.png

God’s love is like gently flowing waters surrounding us.
God’s love is like a tender warm embrace.
God’s love is like a lullaby hummed in your ear.
God’s love is like kisses all over you.
God’s love is like a complete orchestra filling the room.
God’s love is like a banquet put before you.
God’s love is like rain on a parched ground.
God’s love is like the colors of the rainbow.
God’s love is like wine and bread together.
God’s love is like the smell of a rose.
God’s love is like a lacy feather drifting down before you.

SOL. 2:4.
He brought me to the banqueting house, and His banner over me was love.

Worship.jpg

WHEN WORSHIP TAKES PLACE, GOD RESPONDS WITH MANY BLESSINGS:
His glory seeps into your spirit.
His peace and comfort falls upon you.
His joy is renewed in your spirit.
He gives you a fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit.

When we worship, it is like entering the first layer of heaven available to us now. He receives our attention and praise. And he is blessed.
The angels join us in our worship. We are part of a huge assembly before God. Yet, amazingly, his eye can fall on each of us personally.

That, alone, is enough to cause us to worship.

Endure.jpg

We all have those times we need to endure something – so let’s call them valleys we go through. A place between a place – not meant to be permanent, but a transitional place.

Sometimes there is much revelation and truth to be discovered in valley experiences. When we are down there in the valley, God is down there with us. He is the God of the valleys (Ps. 23). He is even called the Lily of the Valley.

In early times, people were told to dig wells in the valleys to bring forth water. So we, too, can dig for water to refresh us by asking specific questions of the Lord; “What can I learn here? – How should I respond? - What will help me? – “Speak to me about what I’m going through.” And we listen.

We can learn not to be moved by our circumstances, but it all depends on our focus. It can either be on the negative, or on the loving hand of God over all.

Romans 5:3 Endurance produces character…
….if we can only settle in and quietly endure. And trust that God knows what he is doing

faith.jpg

Faith does not grow in a comfortable environment.
Faith does not know where it is being led, but it knows the One who is leading.
Faith shows true colors under pressure.
Faith motivates obedience.
Faith is the belief in something when your common sense tells you not to.
Faith overrides feelings, and leads us beyond ourselves.
Faith is a shield.
Faith is saying “Amen” to God”.
Faith is knowing that there is an ocean because you have seen a brook.
Faith is something to be fought for, and treasured.
Faith is not complicated, but simple and childlike.

Perspective.jpg

I see a mountain, you see it removed.
I see a wasteland, you see a garden.
I see a seed, you see a harvest.
I see the water, you see the wine.
I see the broken, you see your body.
I see my enemy, you see your footstool.
I see my sins, you see your blood.
I see my failures, you see redemption.
I see a problem, you see a provision.
I see a crisis, you see an opportunity.
I see the weakness, you see the strength.

I want to see the way you see, Lord.

2 KINGS 6:17 And Elisha prayed, "Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see." Then the LORD opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
