Hair back. I have rather long hair, so it is back probably 98% of the time. usually, when it is required to have hair pulled back, mine already is without thinking about it. But you wouldn't believe the amount of girls who know the rule and have their hair long anyway.

I am one of those who also choose not to go past 5 miles over the speed limit. So, if it is 55, I will NOT go beyond 60. If I do, I just know that I'm on the radar for sure, and will be pulled over. I fear a ticket and paying the price. I should be thinking about safety for me and others, but at the bottom line, it is about the $$.

Also compulsive about toilet paper pulled from the top. Don't others know how much easier it really is?!
Hubby won that argument when we bought a stand-alone TP holder. (vs. the ones attached to walls, since our wall simply didn't like keeping it there.) We can't roll the TP to find the end anymore, so it's now over just to get the end at a place we can reach.

I put my dogs away when company comes over.

Yes, your dogs are cute... no, I really don't want them jumping all over me. :(

One time, I spent an evening at my aunt's house. She had like 7 dogs and they were all the obsessive, possessive types.

I slept in her room, with her. And all her dogs. It took me awhile to fall asleep because every time I moved, the dogs went grrrrrr.

Badly behaved dogs drive me crazy... and their owners who just let it happen. I mean, seriously... discipline your animals, people!!

-- Elbows never go on the table when eating.

-- Shoulder-seatbelt goes on every time, but mostly because it saved my life once, (back when the car gave us no choice. lol)

-- When the traffic narrows to one lane, let one person in front of me come into my lane, UNLESS they were driving in a closed lane for half the bridge before finally finding out the bridge is being painted, so that's why that lane was closed. (The bridges between PA and NJ have been getting painted since they opened 40+ years ago. Some people can't get a clue.)

-- If someone is lost and stuck in the wrong lane, or trying to come out onto a crowded street right before a red light, I'll let them in. If they zoom into the left-turn lane to skip the 5 red lights I've endured because the right lane is closed for construction to cross onto the one street to the highway straight ahead, they better be faster than I am if they expect a free pass. (I live in Philly. Lots of personal traffic rules. lol)

-- Cheer bus drivers when they safely maneuver the bus through a tight space with no more than one foot of space when adding up both sides.

-- Thank civil servants for doing their jobs -- whether a bus driver, a toll booth operator, a mailman, the sanitation workers, a crossing guard, (even though they only help me when kids are crossing the street too lol), or a cop.

-- If my grocery cart is full and the person behind me only has a basket or less, let him/her go first.

-- Warn people behind us in a checkout lane in a super-crowded store that since we're standing in this lane, for some reason/somehow this will become the slowest lane out of all the choices. And, it's true 80% of the time.

(BTW, Sov, thanks for the hashtag idea. A year ago, I didn't even get this pound-sign thingy. I'm still not good at tweeting, but I so love your humor in them most of the time. lol)

Open doors for other people. Lost count of the number of doors I’ve had slammed
in my face following other people.

I made a New Years resolution, never to make any more New Years resolutions, Ive
never broken it. :D

You would have hated out old cat. He slept between my legs, so all night long, every time I needed to turn, I had to organize the blanket and sheet so as not to disturb him. If I failed, he grabbed on with his claws. lol

Oh, also a given. If you hated cats or were allergic to them, he seemed to have a radar to go right to you. I did put him in another room for those who were allergic, but it didn't help. Between the cat hair and dander, even though I did clean for visitors, it was still everywhere. I secretly think he'd walk around the house and reapplied his hair and dander to everything.

Strangely, he had the personality to win over cat haters. A few friends and family still hated cats, except for him.

True. It's the same thing with kids. Some parents don't understand that their kids are not as adorable to others as to them, especially when they're being brats lol.

Haha. It wasn't actually so bad. I thought it was funny that the dogs were guarding their owner from me. I was rather scared though that they'd bite me in my sleep lol.

Lol! Such a boss that cat! Mimay was like that too (my old cat). She LOVED sleeping on my dad's stomach. Dad's a fatty and Mimay would always sleep with him.

we have a lot less visitors over the years, because we live in a very rural area
and don't wear our 'out-side' shoes 'inside' = we have found that it seems to be
a real 'burden' for people to respect this rule that we do ourselves, some actually
are offended that we don't want wild animal '....', being brought in to our living
quarters...we found a way around this by making the garage that leads into our
house a 'man-woman-cave', with lots of chairs...

also, always remember to never 'touch' the door handles of stores that you are
going into, and don't ever touch the toilet handles or the doors going out, as many
don't wash their hands anyway...

I always carry a good disinfectant - and I have read that 'menus' are a terrible
carrier for germs; clean those hands after ordering, or you might just get more
than you bargained for...

and don't forget about 'money and change', they say it is one of the worst carriers
of international 'germs'...what's the big deal about carrying a little vial of alcohol???

I could go 'on and on', but most simply just keep going 'on and on' the same ways
that they 'always have'...

we've discovered that when trying to plant good seed, it is often taken in a negative way,
and we really do try and be polite, as well as good examples, as we can't even remember
when we last 'caught-something'...

=========================================

we have a biker friend who recently had to have a 'cancer' taken off of his nose:
he didn't wear a helmet, but guess he will now...
so many preventative things are just 'common-sense', take heed B's & S's...

I always wear a bike helmet, I don't care how dorky it looks. :p Littering, I don't want to live in a garbage dump.

I don't open the car door for my wife. She's a grown woman.

Naw, I do open it for her sometimes, but when I do she says she can do that herself...sometimes. And sometimes she's mum about it or says thanks.
