Short hair for men all day, we have to have some kind of distinction from women.

All the swag I need can be found in a fingertip amount of hair gel. No need for all that extravagant pampering women love and adore.

So, long hair for men is cool all night?

Hi there; ty for your comments.

You're in the military? (maybe I'm mistaken). Women in the military often have rather strong reasons for having it shorter and manageable.

Blessings.

MsLinda70: I guess this photo shows a cut that would be a bit too short for you, then. This is not my wife in the photo, but my wife is a lawyer, and, for women in business, having it in a manageable cut is an issue sometimes. In the case of the person depicted the pearl necklace and the pearl earrings also and even the rouged cheeks would suggest femininity to most people, anyway, I would guess.

Thanks again. Blessings.
I did state that this was my own personal opinion. You are correct, I would not choose the type of haircut depicted in the photo. The length of hair is pretty much a personal preference...as long as we, as born again believers in Christ, strive to glorify God in all that we do.

1 Corinthians 10:31 Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Some parts of Romans 14 could apply here also.

In any case, there's no doubting the femininity of a cut such as this:

So just out of curiosity, MsLinda70, how do you feel about the cut seen in post #88, immediately above? (seeing as you didn't seem to like the previous one shown).

Blessings.

Personally, I prefer long hair or medium-length hair, but as far as short hairstyles go, that's fairly attractive.

Seems to me anyway that it would be hard for anyone to claim that it's not very feminine.

It's all in the eyes of the beholder. Personally, I don't care for that hairstyle....and that's my opinion and everybody has them (opinions).

It's interesting you say that, most women in the military keep the length of their hair, they just have to have it in a bun if they choose to not have their hair cut shorter.

Some women have it short, but I wouldn't say most.

Ms.Linda70: Funny picture; funny comment! :)

I guess also there is a point that ppl with longer hair who smoke, or who are around those who do, find that their hair gets rather deeply infused with cigarette smoke. I guess this was never an issue for you?

My late husband was a smoker and so were my parents....but it was never an issue with me 40 or 50 years ago.

I have had my days of short hairs (during my teens), now I prefer keeping my hair long.
