Simple Pleasures:

"The greatest joy for a man is to defeat his enemies, to drive them before him, to take from them all they possess, to see those they love in tears, to ride their horses, and to hold their wives and daughters in his arms."

- Genghis Khan

I suppose different people are into different things.

Also given my above post.

Listening to my kids playing the piano. They are now using it to play worship songs.

It's only started to happen over the last few weeks.

One night when say in the other room I suddenly heard the piano being played and then my 3 daughters praising Jesus.

Very emotional even add I write this.
Thanking Jesus for it.

That sounds idyllic..

I love watching the snow fall.

One of my favourite Bible verses

Job 38:22
22 “Have you entered the treasury of snow,
Or have you seen the treasury of hail,
It is....especially where I live....Mark Twain Nationall Forest, 25 to 30 k to nearest town, down a 8 k gravel road with a 600 k driveway, nearest neighbor is about 2 k away, off grid, complete silence so much so you can only hear the snow falling and the few winter birds hitting the feeder....

The conductor in the first is very fun to watch. I've never seen a conductor give a thumbs up to the orchestra in the midst of conducting. :)
