butterfly I'll send 20 gallon of snow to your door I'd you'll like some. Lol :D
You must have the kind of snow that doesn't melt that I heard about in the news last year. If you send some snow don't forget to include some snow fleas. I have just finished snow blowing the driveway for the second time today and I can guarantee I take no pleasure in the the song Rocky Mountain High cause we get enough of the Colorado lows around here.

Well, all the posts in this thread are from N America, nearly all from the US, so I thought I'd post from the UK, N Ireland in particular. It is very rare that we get snow here in November, if we get it, it usually falls between January and March, and it usually only lies for a day or so, last March it lay for 3 weeks with me, and I was absolutely sick off it by the end of the first week. The reason for our wet and mild climate (hence why Ireland is so green) is because of the N Atlantic drift (Gulf Stream in particular).

Oh praise the Lord, I don't have to shovel snow this year or dig my car out from under icy snow or maneuver the car through unplowed streets. I moved from Pennsylvania last winter and it was 0 degrees out, snow drifts frozen everywhere, the streets thick with ice.

I'm in Texas now and it's a tad chilly but no snow in the forecast. Bless God! \:D/

We got a few more inches on Saturday. I truly don't mind the snow, and I don't know if I could ever happily live somewhere that it does not snow, because snow is such an important part of me. I love winter and cold, and I'm not particularly fond of the heat. I'd probably be all right in like, Russia or something, though, I don't think i would enjoy the 3 months of darkness or the 3 months of sunlight in the summer. Though, maybe it doesn't do that in Russia, and only in Alaska?

Down here everybody needs a 4WD as well, but that's got nothing to do with snow lol.

I grew up in Detroit and lived for many years in Lansing. I took a tour once at the Kellogg's plant in Battle Creek. The thing about winter in Michigan is that is last for over 6 months. I spent the last 8 years in Maine so I am all set with the snowfall. I will be wintering in Clearwater, Florida this winter. The only ice that I will see will be in my glass of cranberry juice.
