Eh...I was slightly disappointed to be honest. Only slightly. I didn't even vote. But I'm glad all the election stuff is finally over.

For the first time in weeks the phone has not rung all day (I'm in Ohio so we were bombarded heavily with voting-related calls, lol).

If God is in charge of our world, if it is run by it’s creator with His principles, we are in real trouble. Obama says we are not a Christian nation, we are open to all Gods. He says he admires the God the Muslims have. When we had the prophets to tell us how God acted in light of having such leaders, they explained it brought on disaster. It would be a good idea to do everything we can to prepare for disasters unless we have a different world, now, with a different creator.

We all know the world ends up in the cesspool with a single leader who stands against God, and that we teeter on that very edge right now. Why would we expect a leader who strays from that path? Either one of them was to be another stepping stone that direction.

And I don't recognize that last song... but good job!

A) We're not a Christian nation. Freedom of religion. There are a LOT of Christians in this great country but there are also other religions, and allowing people to practice the faith they choose is what America was founded on.

B) The Islamic god and Christian god are one in the same. Both followers worship the same exact god. They just do so in different ways.

They're not the same. I've read the koran and the islamic god is much different from my Jesus.

Well you're right about that. It is different from Jesus. Judiesm, Christianity, and Islam all branch from the same god. The difference is christians came around when Jesus was declared the Prophet. Islam holds the belief that Muhammad is the prophet. And Jews don't think the Prophet has yet descended to earth. However, they all believe in the same god.

Must be hard to be American. Feeling like you are the only nation that matters in the entire history of world events. That your children are the only ones God cares about. That the fate of the entire universe stands on your 2012 elections (the election process being entirely man made).

Must be such a burden.

Say there, be informed of one fact:

There is ONLY ONE Perennial Living, Most Holy, Supreme Intelligence, Eternally Righteous, accurately Truthful, faithful Savior GOD ALMIGHTY Creator of the Universe in the Bible, and HE is definitely NOT, so very sincerely & reliably NOT the equivalent deity in another religion by definition of ONE. :)

The God of the Bible is precisely that: God of the Bible. :D

Judaism and Christianity have the same God. But in Judaism they need the new covenant (Jesus) to be saved and to truly be in relationship with the God of Abraham , Isaac and Jacob. Islam came after Christianity, and its messages are very different from Old Testament + New Testament.

“Freedom of Religion” is quite a politically correct stance, whatever anyone wants to believe. God does not force anyone, and even uses some who accept other Gods, but God does not bless them or give them eternal life. I would like to live in a nation blessed by God.

Have you asked scripture or prayed about what God wants from our country in regard to freedom of religion? We are to keep ourselves separate, not vote for a person who thinks of God in the way Obama does, where all Gods are just fine.

The Islams say that the God they worship and the one we worship are not the same, why should you decide they are? Their religion was made up by a mortal man 500 years after Christ was resurrected. They copy much of our scripture including Abraham and Moses, but the heart of our religion is Christ. Before the resurrection, a shadow of Christ was shown in the sacrificial system of blood atonement so Christ was the center even before the resurrection. Their God does not include Christ. Even the Jews who think Christ has not come to earth yet center their religion on the coming Messiah.
