Some great choices on here!

Karen Carpenter - what a voice! I get why those songs would invoke tears but to me they are simply beautiful, I lose myself in her voice. What a loss she is - very sad how she died but you know many more of us would follow her in the kind of self-worth struggle she had if we didn't know we were loved by The King of kings. Sorry for going off topic here.

I love this song. I guess the sadness for me is in what came of Karen Carpenter and the loss to music she was but yeah the song and many more of their music does touch the heart.

For some reason, when I was a teenager, "The Kill" by 30 Seconds To Mars made me want to cry every time I listened to it. It doesn't have quite the same affect anymore; I think it was all that teen angst.
