Sunday Worshiping............

I really just signed on to say that we had a wonderful worship service this morning at church. I thank God for the joy of having a church family to fellowship with. We had a very moving prayer time, and sang a couple of old hymns, and we had a guest speaker that did a very good job of preaching. I don't mean he was entertaining, I mean he preached right out of the Bible, and the message (which I believe was inspired) was very real and moving. He preached on having the courage to "witness" to the world regardless of any consequences that might befall us. He referenced Paul being in jail, and still worshiping and praising God........of how the Apostles were imprisoned for preaching, and then released and warned to not preach anymore, but they went right back out and started boldly preaching the Gospel.

Anyway, just a quick comment to say I was really blessed spiritually by the fellowship and the Word this morning, and I thank God for getting me up and out to be there so His Word could touch me, strengthen me, and give me the spiritual food to nourish me...........Thank You Father.

My church's weekend worship service was also awesome. I am so blessed to have such an incredible church with incredibly wise leaders. My church is not perfect, but I am grateful to be able to attend.

I thank God this thread wasn't what I thought it was going to be about. The title was a little misleading. how ever its great all you enjoyed your services. I did too.
