This is the second year of my service for preschool children in our church.
I'm wondering how does this "education" look in your church or if you're a teacher which form of lesson do you like?

My goal for children in the age of 3-6 is for tham to know they can come to God, that it is not just an adult thing. We always read some story, do some craft, prayer, song, game etc.

I know that children are educated differently even in our coutry, so I would like to be inspired, how it's done elsewhere. :)

It is very good to instruct young children in the Word of God. HOWEVER, one must be careful as to how they do this. At that age, a child is not prepared to feast on the meat of His Word. Rather one should concentrate on feeding them with the milk and honey of His Word. By this, I mean teaching them of the Love of Jesus, the Love of God.

Theological teachings of various denominations should not be part of their instruction. At that age, they are STILL within the Loving Arms of Jesus and NOT held accountable. Accountability, or judgment if you prefer, only comes when they reach an age where they are capable of knowing right from wrong (Spiritually), capable of knowing that they need Eternal Salvation.

A three year old, or six year old is not at such an age...........Their angels are always at the Throne, and Jesus Himself holds them dear...........I am speaking of their Eternal Spirits.......for, surely, bad things can and does happen to children, but Jesus assures their Eternal Spirits will not be destroyed.

Focus on the basics when instructing children of this age would be my suggestion.........
