It's possible that not all users actually saw the post the OP referenced, hence it's not about failure to stand up.
Maybe others are trying to engage the person first with grace and love in hopes of leading them to repentance.

Romans 2:4
4 Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?

You call condemning ppl and mocking and name calling your brethren in Christ standing for Christ? If anything you are standing for your own disgust in ppls ways of handling the ways of sexual immorality.

If thats not the case then considering the anger and harsh and uncalled for words then i dont know who you are standing for but its not Christ.
Spoken like a true coward!

As far as valiant displays of courage, or weak displays of cowardice, honestly I wouldn't consider "standing up" to someone on an online message board as a high level display of courage.

If the OP is looking to truly display some Christian courage, I know of a group known as ISIS, that could really use some evangelism now. If you're all for these displays of courage, maybe transition from a message board, and into getting a plane ticket to eastern Syria or northern Iraq. Go big or go home some would say.

Accept that there is going to be loopholes in your thinking and allow your brothers and sisters help you fill in the gaps! But make sure they are your brother and sister and not an imposter.
Good point! Not all who say they are Christian are so!

Your hostility reminds me of this situation in the bible, where James and John wanted to pray for fire to fall down from heaven on people and Jesus rebuked them.

Luke 9:54-56King James Version (KJV)

54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?
55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.
56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

You said there is no such thing as a 'transsexual Christian'. We have Christians, as the Corinthians, who can be in all manner of sin and yet they are part of the body of Christ. They are called "Carnal Christians" they are but babes in Christ, having yet matured in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. For you to assume a person isn't a Christian based upon conduct completely makes void the Gospel. It isn't what we do that saves us, but what Christ has done. Yes, they should live righteously, and in due time the fruit of the Spirit will come to fruition in their lives, but as fruit takes time to grow and ripen, so it is with believers (at times).

Instead of making "your position" clear to the LGBT community, maybe you should make God's position clear. You know, present the Gospel to them, that God loves them, sent His Son to die for them and resurrect; not to mention the gift of no condemnation. In other words, present the Gospel of Grace to them, because condemnation doesn't lead men to repentance but God's goodness does.

I like your way of thinking, BelieverInChrist. So far, its just you and I on this forum who are standing up. Well, on this subject anyway.

Your choice of words are true and honest. The world needs more Christians like you.

Could I have been more polite? Sure I could have, but would this debate have attracted more attention if I did so?

I just have become so frustrated with modern Churches and Christians because everyone is soooo worried about offending someone. Christians back in our grandparents day were more concerned with offending people! Actually, Christians back then stood up and made their voices heard. Something today that modern Christians know nothing about!
My words I speak are things I have felt God press upon my heart and teach me over the years. I try not to get into these debates or conversations, unless I feel God press upon me to do so, and I always pray for Him to work through me and allow Him to give me the words to say. When I was on here once before a few years back, even saying such a thing as that, put me in the persecution seat. I got ridiculed and told there was no way that God spoke to me and caused me to write what I did at the time. I just know what is in my heart and what I feel God telling me to share.

It was very sad on how some spoke here. They seemed to hate what was being said, but they too were not talking very friendly or loving. Perhaps God was convicting :)

Oh well, all that any of us can do is continue on, to forgive, to repent, to trust God and to keep PRAYING. And keep wanting to grow in Christ.

God bless

WOW! You just said, in your own way, that homosexuality is somewhat accepted in Church! I think it is you who needs to repent! You are still trying to please man! If you were a real Christian, you would not challenge another Christian and dare to say that there is such a thing as "Transsexual Christians" which in its self is blasphemy! You need really rethink your position!

One last thing, I never asked God to send fire down from heaven, which is your way of saying that I want them dead, which is totally wrong on your part and is your way of trying to put words into my mouth! This is what is wrong with young people today who call themselves Christian, they grew up in a Liberal environment with Pagan and homosexuals and said to themselves, gee, they aren't so bad!

I agree with you.

When I first saw that there are homosexuals on this site and openly referring to themselves as Christians was bad enough, but when I saw NO CHRISTIANS STANDING UP bothered me the most! I felt so strongly about it and that is why I posted the comment that I did. I was just so appalled at the lack of backbone that I just had to reply the way that I did. I did the same thing on another site not to long ago and I am still surprised that they didn't kick me off. I went after a person who claims that she is a Christian but publicly stated that she hates this country and is leaving it and has no problem leaving her kids and grandkids behind for what she thinks is about to fall upon this country, and then make a huge fuss over a YouTube video that shows fisherman in Asia killing Dolphins for food and then she says that these people will burn in hell. Hmm…where in the Bible does it say killing Dolphins for food is evil? They are not on Leviticus' list for approved food that one can eat but some cultures find them tasty. I don't, but some do. I got such a backlash from members of that site for daring to point out the truth, but of course, the biggest backlash was from this so-called Christian who loves Dolphins and shows them more compassion than her own children!

I am no stranger to controversy, not by any means.

Blain, don't worry, he will get himself banned over this soon enough. Sooner or later he will call someone the wrong word, and one of the mods will boot his judgmental self off this site. I'm truly surprised he has'nt been banned already, because he's been rather verbally abusive to alot of us, and especially to the user he's complaining about..

He says he's standing up for Jesus, doing what Jesus would do..Ummmmm Jesus would NOT have mocked this user or called her names..he would have told her how much he loved her, and prayed unceasingly for her.

I just hate to see so much anger and judgment in a person,we all have our level of spiritual maturity in our faith and if he is relatively new in Christ then I suppose we can expect some of this but if he has been one for a while now like 5 or more years then he should at least be a little more loving than this.

The fact is none of us have the right to condemn a sinner for sinning a different sin than ours, i cannot throw a stone at someone because they are a thief and liar while I am a murderer and con artist.
The issue with a lot of Christians these days is the self righteousness, and because we dont humble ourselves we get far off the straight and narrow road but we are tricked into thinking we are by satan.

I have said many times that both God and satan are at work here in cc, every thread every post every blog- there is a major spiritual battle here+

Blain, amen brother!! All he is doing is sowing seeds of hate and prejudice and judgment on here. He's not sowing seeds of love and compassion, or forgiveness and understanding. He's trying to serve both masters right now. It don't work like that. You can't serve Jesus AND Satan at the same time. His words and behavior indicate that he's chosen Satan. But like I said, he'll get banned soon for hurling the wrong insult.

Matthew 26:33-35, 69-75 Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of thee, yet will I never be offended.Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this night, before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.
Peter said unto him, Though I should die with thee, yet will I not deny thee. Likewise also said all the disciples.

Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, Thou also wast with Jesus of Galilee.
But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what thou sayest.
And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth.
And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man.
And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely thou also art one of them; for thy speech bewrayeth thee.
Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.
And Peter remembered the word of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

To claim the title/label of Christian means you openly follow Christ as your Lord and Savior. A homosexual Christian is an oxymoron. 1 Corinthians 6:9 says no effeminate man or a man who practices homosexuality (even through lust in his heart) will inherit the kingdom. A New Creation... Joy Peace RIGHTEOUSNESS in the holy spirit is the matter of the kingdom of God. born again. baptised symbolizing the washing away of the old, carnal minded nature is gone. The power of the Holy spirit transforms the condition of the heart to being new and nothing like the old ways and habits. To believe there is a God, to believe there is Jesus who is God, that's one thing -- even the demons beleive and shutter as james wrote. But to merely believe does not make one Christian. people weren't even called chrsitains until antioch in the book of Acts. There is no such thing as a christian who struggles with homosexuality. that would be a goat or worse, a possible wolf spirit. wolves are hungry after the flesh. romans 1 is clear about those who God turned men over to lust after the unnatural thing... they BeLIEVED the lie instead of the truth. instead of believing in the truth of God, they choose to entertain the lustful emotions of their wicked flesh. if a homosexual had a real experience with God, and the fear of teh Lord was revealed to him, that would be cleansing enough from the unclean spirit of homosexuality in him, and he would be a christian without the desires of the flesh. the scripture is clear, that those who's mind is after the flesh walk in the condemnation, but there is no condemnation for those who walk after the Spirit. Spirit gives birth to spirit. Born again means the Spirit generated a spiritual minded believer. born again is not a process. born again means one has started over again. backslidding those is a different story alltoether, it means you've walked away from the grace and salvation of God. to backslide into homosexuality means you wren't really a christian. as john said, the children of the devil are those who continue to sin. but those of god have the love of the father in them, and then sin no longer. my whole issue here is the matter of a christian struggling with homosexual behavior. i'm not joel osteen, i don't accept homosexuals for who they are because that's NOT who they are. homosexuals believe it is who they are, their identity. but who they are as a person isn't defined by mere sexual inward burning. we are all sexual humans by nature, but our identity is whoremonger or prostitute or luster. the issue of identity is different from the issue of sexuality. i accept people as they are, as humans created in the image of God, that jesus died for them. but i do not accept homosexual believers. if we just stayed strict about this issue and not be cowardly in our trying to reach out to the homosexual community, then there would be a fear of god that isn't muddied and watered down. homosexuals greatest demon is PRIDE and they know the power of their Pride. they don't see or care to know that their pride is also their downfall. if christians actually preached the fear of the lord and didn't waver in their message, and if christians didn't try and make the fear of the lord this comfy good feeling message like "the fear of god is not actual fear, it's "reverence" and if they actually looked at the word there FEAR for what it is, then we would be given an anointing to preach the fear of god with power rather than empty it with our words of eloquence and crafty sermons and washed up theology. god loves all people. he died for all people. but gods wrath is poured out on sons of disobedence. that's what it is, its a matter of disobedience, of rebellion. stiff-necked rebellion... PRidE... john wrote: the pride of life, the lust of the eyes and the lust of the flesh... those who operate in the flesh do not have the love of the father in them. let's stop being sympathetic towards homosexuals, and lets start being empathetic, putting ourselves in their shoes, thinking that they will go to hell forever if no one preaches not only love, but truth. no body likes to be called wrong. but if no one points out what is wrong about someone's behavior, their concious will never question their activities. just because we can't reach a homosexual in the moment we talk to them about god, doesn't mean we failed. we have sown a seed. men water and sow seeds, but God is the one who brings the increase. speaking the truth in the fruit of the spirit is enough to rebuke, reproove, correct and train in righteousness. TOLERATION is the the new black. It is the spirit of compromise that affects us sickly. we're not here to hurt people, but we're here to bring the word of light, and if it be offensive to them, it's between them and god. we're just the messengers tthat care about their souls... wow, i think the Spirit just used me lol

My anger is towards "Luke Warm Christians" like you. You do not worship in the house of God, you worship in the house of Political Correctness. Stop seeking mans praise!

It takes a real Christian to stand up! A Luke Warmer like you only needs to go with the flow, as going with the flow is much easier and shows everyone that you are of the world!

Welcome to the club, Brother! This is a fight I have had with many of those who say: do not judge!

We Christians are supposed to judge. We do not like it at times, but we do. If you are a parent, you had pretty darn well judge! If your teenage daughter came home with a kid that is member of the MS-13 street gang, you had better judge and tell that kid to get out of your house and stay the heck away from your daughter!

Not to judge is to engage in political correctness, which in it self is satanic! Satan does not want you to judge, he wants for you to accept those who openly mock God! If he can get the public to embrace that, he can do anything.

So now you assume you know the level of my faith and love for God? you dont know me you have no clue as the level of faith and love i have and I would appreciate it if you would stop making false accusations against me and others here. You have no right to name call and mock and condemn everyone here who doesnt agree with you, I have been very patient with you I replied as respectfully as i could but for you to tell me I do not worship God and I seek the praise of man is very insulting.
You know nothing about me yet you say I dont worship God? Are you kidding me? And when have i sought praise from men please show me when i even hinted I wanted praise from others and please show me how I dont worship God.

You have no idea the depth of my love for him and trust me if you knew me at all if you payed attention to my posts on here you would see how deep and rich and powerful the love God and I share as I always speak my heart and my heart talks about this love a lot.

Honestly how could you say something so mean? I have been nothing but nice to you
