For me it was not symbolic of Jesus becoming the sacrificial Lamb.

But I do not wish to go against the administrators rules on this matter, I already have a particular thread that goes against their rules, and I do not want to push it.

I have heard of other denominations doing this, but I have no idea who until here in this thread.

I am not aware of their rules persee..i Do think that if it is christian chat..and not protestant chat..or calvinist chat..etc. then all should be able to discuss their views, and if folks disagree..then show in scripture why..without calling anyone a heretic..a sinner..telling them the demons are better than them..etc. This is unnecessary.

I would appeal to stilly/stillwaters or someone else..and see what the deal is. While i do not agree in all points with you..i agree with far more than i do with many 'grace only' spiritually lethargic protestants on here..and even those who seek to bash me here are allowed to do so..folks lie about me all day here..say i said i was 'holy' nope..never said it..i said i believe a man can be holy and seek to live my life differently now. once again..the devil is the accuser..not God.

Please do not blaspheme this belief

As a catholic I believe that in the celebration of the Eucharist, bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit and the instrumentality of the priest.

What other churches celebrate the eucharist?

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, said the blessing, broke it, and giving it to his disciples said, "Take and eat; this is my body." Then he took a cup, gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which will be shed on behalf of many for the forgiveness of sins." (Mt 26:26-28; cf. Mk 14:22-24, Lk 22:17-20, 1 Cor 11:23-25)

My church Presbyterian does too. We don't celebrate every week. But I believe it's important to take part as well.

OK, was curious :)

As long as one don't bash people or go against scripture I see no reason why the mods would not allow the thread (on a general basis)
