The constant accusation that the Talmud is in any way sexually immoral or impure is one of the biggest lies ever told. Why? I've studied the ENTIRE Babylonian Talmud for many years and found it to be very sexually moral, more so than most forms of Christianity. In reality, the Rabbis of the Talmud were very strict about personal sexual behavior. For example, the Talmud insists that a husband may only have sex with his wife in total darkness. Any outside light source illuminating the interior of the marital bedroom was prohibited. Marital love even by the moonlight was seen as sinful and wrong. This is not to say the Rabbis were repressed in any way. Indeed, they come off as quite wise and down-to-earth about sexual matters. Their frank discussions of animal breeding practices would probably make a young girl blush, but their old-fashioned chivalry and respect for women prove the point that these Rabbis represented sort of an ancient version of the Anglo-Saxon country Gentleman.

Because of the traditional Jewish respect for self-discipline and self-control, the Talmud's attitude towards masturbation was far different than today's Christian tolerance and acceptance of a sexual act still defined in the dictionary as self-abuse, or self-defilement. The Rabbis of the Talmud considered any man (or boy) who masturbated as being 'worthy of death'. Here is the relevant Talmudic verses and their blatant condemnation of that diabolical method the Devil prefers to use all the while pretending to shake your hand in friendship.

How brave you are to speak of the Talmud on a Christian site! Some say that because lots of people who are Jews don’t accept that Jesus was the Messiah, everything Jewish must be abolished. Shades of the Dark Ages. I have found much wisdom in the Rabbis. Christians have their commentaries, we think that is fine, but these same people say no to the Talmud as a commentary.

In the epistles it speaks of the Jews being given directions that was as protective of them as the man who guarded the children walking to school. As I read of these protective ways, I find ways of living and reasons for those ways that helps with my protection. I have no patience with people who say they are so superior through Christ that they don’t need a bit of help. I often watch these superior people fall flat on their face.

And here is a free badge for YOUR bravery kind sir! Wear it proudly, because it means, no matter what you really, truly are 'underneath' and 'deep, down inside', you sure ain't no Nazi and, as they say in rural Washington State, all I can say is: 'Yeeeeee, hahhhhh!'

As a Catholic it's much easier now to 'wuv' the Jews these days than it used to be, but I hear some Protestants (Pastors or otherwise) still bully their Christian 'brothers' into silence while they spew Jew-Hating nonsense that every other member of the parish knows to be untrue, and possibly a sign that their own preacher may be mentally ill

So to make a long story short, I read the Talmud, all of it (10+ years ago). I took the city bus to the University Research library at least three times a week and I read that darn thing from bwginning to end. My conclusion? It's the most dull, boring, read in my entire life. I have yet to track any real classically all t.he Talmudi, Secrets about which spices to use when cooking vrgin gneetiles for his Sabbath meal


Yes, there may be some problem passages and the Rabbis sometimes sound pretty ridiculous when they can't agree with other about anything all, and yet this petty 'debating' has been written permanently for everyone to read and ponder. I'll bet if some of the Talmudic Rabbis were alive today, they'd burn the Talmud publicly, even though they wrote the darn thing.

Here are a few, irrefutable statistical FACTS about he TALMUD:

1) The Talmud contains more than 3.5 million words in total.
2) This means that, mathematically speaking, only a total .001% of the 'Satanic' Talmud of t
3) This means that 99.999% of the Talmud is unobjectionable and in many ways, happens to be in par allel with traditional Christian ethics and morality.

+ hose are the undisputable facts and they will not change. In the meantime, I say the Jew-haters need to go elsewhere and accuse some other group of being.001% pure Evil, and a mere 99.99% Good. Most groups would probably laugh at you and think you were a fool. Yet dripping with racist theology, certain Gentiles demand that the Talmud must be100% pure, innocent and good or it must be sa completely evil document inspired by the anti-Christ.

Sorry to blasphemy about it, but I would still say the Gospels ain't up there at 100% either. So who's talking?
