I want every Christian to remember this about the 2012 USA elections and I will explain why.

Remember this one fact: People who call themselves Conservative Christians are choosing to vote for a Mormon, over another Christian.

This is a fact. They are choosing to vote for a Mormon.

I want you to remember this for the rest of your life.

Why? Because every time in the future that a Conservative Christian choosing to demonize a Democratic candidate, or demonize a fellow Christian in the name of politics, I want you to remember that in 2012 they chose to vote for a Mormon. Every time they say a person is not Christian enough, I want you to remember they chose to vote for a Mormon. Every time they demonize Moslems and say that Moslems believe in a different God, I want to remember they voted for a Mormon.

Mark 4:24 “Consider carefully what you hear,” he continued. “With the measure you use, it will be measured to you—and even more.

Matthew 23:25 'Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.'

Psalms 26:4 "I do not sit with the deceitful, nor do I associate with hypocrites."

Democrat, Republican- like there's a diff. I vote according to a persons record of past, not their religious affiliations. There are no good candidates. I refuse to vote the lesser of evils this time around. Enjoy the game called democracy while you can, I take no blame for the war monger next to take power. The foreign policy of either is to set sanctions and wage war. I will not have that blood on my hands.

Are you claiming Obama is a Christian? If so you should check your facts. Reality is Obama has proven himself to be quite against Christianity.

Next, i'm not voting a pastor, i'm voting a president. I don't care what his religious beliefs are, i only care that the president can do the job right.

This isn't even your country, so your cheap, unfounded attacks don't affect me one bit on MY countries politics. So you can put away your out of context, wrongly applied scriptural references and save them for next time you look in the mirror.

Obama is pro-abortion, pro-gay rights, and has shown hostility towards Israel, a mockery of Christianity, a reverence for Muslim belief. He is a believer in more government in our lives (i. e. Big Brother). His 'church' that became so famous during the previous election (and now is rarely spoken of since he got elected) had messages focused more on race and being black than on spreading the news of Christ. Stop me when i get to the part where Obama sounds Christian...

While refusing to speak with the name of Christ behind him, and excusing this as some form of uniformity in backgrounds, he doesn't hesitate to speak with no flags behind him, and the Planned Parenthood logo repeated over and over behind him, and across his podium. (Planned Parenthood is a pro-abortion group that believes in providing underage students with free condoms through school, and free abortions for students, without parental consent, among other things). In fact, despite their claim of a 'flag background' i saw probably more speeches with no flags in sight, than with flags in his background.

I am glad that a Christian was elected over a Non-Christian.

Now the world has seen you (I use 'you' in the general sense to describe conservatives). Seen you vote for a Non-Christian Cultist. Nothing can change that stain or sin. It's there forever. In the Book of Life you will be asked why you chose a Non-Christian over a Christian, and it will be known that you put your politics above your religion. Your years of bearing false witness against your neighbour, of making up conspiracies against Obama. The racism, the subtle fascism and overt hate. All these will be known. The entire contents of your heart will be on display.

Time to end the 'Moral Majority' rhetoric. Time to end the spiritual abuse within Christian communities of people insisting that everyone vote Republican.

Time to embrace independence and freedom to vote. Time to start respecting the separation of Church and state which is in the US constitution.

Never again can a spiritually abusive self styled Christian Conservative claim that the GOP is the Christian party.

It's done. It's over. Time to start helping the poor, the sick, the tired and hungry.

...uh... "Mormon, over another Christian?"

Since when do Christian Presidents support same-xxx marriages, which BTW, is abominable to God Almighty?

No other President in the entire history of the grand US of A has remotely come close to such abomination, yet some guy down Pennsylvania Ave seems very agreeable with abominable issues.

So they voted for Romney, that's no reason to condemn them and hold it against them for the rest of their lives. That isn't the Christ-like love, forgiveness, and mercy we were taught to show others.

Another news flash, no presidential candidate is perfect and sinless, and being perfect and sinless isn't a requirement for a Christian to vote for them.

As a president representing the population of America, Obama realized that not all Americans are Christians, and that's not Obama's fault. Obama just doesn't want to force Christian beliefs down other people's throats for a sin that's not a sin against other people, but a sin against one's own body.(1 Corinthians 6:18)

I'm not saying Obama's view is right or that I even agree with it. But that's something Obama will have to answer to God about. It isn't anyone else's job to point the finger at him and condemn him. All the bashing of Obama for this is mostly sensless, since the same can be said of the republican party too. Just look at Romney's comments about how he doesn't care about the poor. Pretty sure Jesus didn't teach us to be stingy and greedy instead of giving to the poor and needy. One thing people need to realize is that republican doesn't automatically equal Christian, and democrat doesn't automatically equal anti-Christian, even though a lot of people act like it's that way.

A Christian is defined by agreeing 100% with God. Otherwise, the person is Lukewarm. A Politician either seeks God's favor 100% or he/she does not. "You cannot serve two master;" Jesus said that. :D

God has already established that there will be that one final leader who will exist to oppose and resist anyone and everything favoring 100% God's advice and ordinances. The worse part is that the nations will agree with such distorted individual.

All these US presidential elections and the media boasting all kinds of abominable issues are pretty much dress rehearsal for the utter destruction God explained so very long ago. Yikes!

Romans 12

1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
-------------------------------------

If all US politicians and all US judges and any person in academic teaching capacity would obey those 60 words above, then we wouldn't be having this conversation because the US would be, literally, be "one nation under God." :)

Yeah, I can definately see your point. Like I said, I'm not agreeing with Obama here, but I don't need to answer to God for Obama, Obama needs to answer to God for Obama. And Likewise, the non-Christians also have a point in that it's not a sin agianst other people. I think it's really unfortunate that homosexuality has become such a hot button issue in society like it has.

Meh Im glad Obama won. Better whatever he is, than someone who is willing to force biblical rules and opinions on a nonbiblical nation.l We arent a theocracy and nor should we be. People who think otherwise are more than welcome to move to one. I myself look forward to the day I can go to friends weddings because they are finally legal.

Man, it's pretty sad our nation has chose a man who blasphemes God to lead us. Are we supposed to compromise our beliefs, when it comes to choosing our president or in any other situation? No. You can't pick and choose the things you want to follow, or the times you want to follow them. God's word comes as a package. You accept it all, or nothing.

John 1:5-10

5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.
8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

Now, we all sin of course, but the point is that we strive to do his will every day, although we are flawed and imperfect. I sincerely pray for our nation, because it's heading straight for hell.

As for abortion,

Psalm 106:37-38

They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons; they poured out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood.

Abortion is wrong, and we should not support or vote for anyone who supports it. In Psalm when it talked about sacrificing their children to the idols, we are doing the same thing right now. We sacrifice our children for an idol, which is ourselves, to have freedom and for our own selfishness. We're willing to take a life in order to do that. Now, I know it is not the case with all, with rape and incest, but quite a oftentimes it is. We have unprotected sex out of wedlock, and even if it is protected, it still is out of wedlock. Trying to fix a sin with another sin. How long do you think God will put up with this killing? Especially now that we're trying to give away free abortions like it's a lemonade stand.

Psalm 127:3

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward.

Mark 10:13-16

13 People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. 14 When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. 15 Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” 16 And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.

As for supporting Homosexuals,

Leviticus 20:13
13 “‘If a man has sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable.

I don't hate them, nor does God. It is a sin though. Yes, someone who is gay can worship God all the same. He's not committing any worse sin than the rest, but should we glorify it? Should we make it legal? Since all the sins are the same, aside from one, why don't we just legalize them all? Why don't we go around murdering, cheating, and stealing with no repercussions? You think, "Well, that's so much worse."
But is it? It's the same in God's eyes.
James 2:10

10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.

Despite everything I've said, which has been said many times before, God foresees the future.

Psalm 37:12

The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them;

2 Timothy 3: 3-9
3 But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. 2 People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, 4 treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God— 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.
6 They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over gullible women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7 always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth. 8 Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 9 But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.

Revelation 6:16

They called to the mountains and the rocks, "Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

What’s important to me is not whether or not a person is a Christian, Muslim, Jew, or Mormon. What matters to me is that a person loves the Lord with all his heart, mind, and soul, and loves his neighbor as himself.
