most of the media, which pumps out lies and propaganda 24/7. in my opinion, this is the biggest reason we are so divided.

This is starting to sound like the local diner at mid-morning, when the older guys sit around the table and talk about everything that is wrong with the country and how things should be fixed.

Not just the local diner in MY town... almost every town has that group of guys.

I disagree with schools they should have never placed God in worldly schools or on worldly money.

give to ceasar what belongs to ceasar and give to God what belongs to God.
Even if you remove the spiritual element since removing God out of schools children are taught they are cosmic accidents, their life has no meaning, that they are just evolved animals and death means nothing but the end.
By doing this you remove a belief that they have value and relevance. The belief that they have a purpose. Remove the idea that consequences matter. View the people around them as accidents and animals.
This strips away the value of self and others increasing bad behavior and violence. Why bother being nice? Why value your own or others lives? We're all accidents with no future.

EXACTLY! I was mentioning to a friend a while back that I don't know why all these man-made tragedies like mass shootings have taken so long to start. If you start from "There isn't such a thing as a god" the logical endpoint is "nothing I do matters, so why should I work so hard to survive instead of going out with a bang?" And with everybody around you ALSO being a freak accident of nature, there is no reason to respect their right to live either. In fact, who came up with this whole rights thing in the first place? Why should any cosmic accident have rights?

If you take God out of the equation, the only thing left holding society together is force, usually manifested in armed police officers, and they can't be everywhere all the time. And I think their job is about to get a lot harder, because a lot of people are starting to wake up and say, "Hey, why shouldn't I do that too? Except school shootings have been done so much nobody pays attention anymore... I should do something bigger, something different, that will get people's attention."

Why not? If we're all accidents of nature, none of it matters anyway.

Yes.... perhaps like sending bombs to random people in the mail?
