Don't assume because I fall asleep while you are talking that you are boring....know for a fact that that is the case!

(actually, it may be due to my sleep apnea ...but your boring talk doesn't help :p)
Don't assume I'm upset that my boring puts you to sleep. As someone with insomnia and sleep apnea, sometimes I'm just happy to put someone else to sleep.

Don't assume that because someone doesn't dress nice, or take showers that it means they are poor...
This guy pictured below has the best Porsche collection in the world...

Hubby used to be an HVAC mechanic. One of his coworkers was born and raised to be a farmer, but became a mechanic when his parents sold the farm.

Oh, the farm was located in Bucks County, PA, which at the time was THE place to move to if you were rich and worked in either Philly or NYC. The land has been great farm land since the times of Billy Penn. So, his family sold the land to developers, who then developed it into one of the most expensiveness places to live in one of the richest counties in the US. So merely selling the family farm made the entire family super rich. But, hubby's co-worker was used to working hard every day, so he picked a career that meant working hard every day.

It also meant there would be oily gunk around the fingernails, even after washing up, oily gunk covering every cut received while working, and lots of cuts while working. So his hands, arms, and face had shades of gray to it, unless bleached when bathing. (Hubby's idea of a manicure was to keep his hands in a bowl of bleach-water for 30 minutes. The first time I ever saw him with clean fingernails was on our wedding day. I simply didn't think the dirt could be removed. lol)

So hubby's co-worker went out to buy a new Cadillac right after work one day, dressed in his grimy dickies. (He did wash his face and hands like usual, so he wasn't trying to look like a slob.) The salesman saw him, grimaced and turned his back.

Hubby's co-worker walked right up to him, pulled out the wad of cash he planned to buy it with and told him, "I was going to pay for a new Cadillac with cash."

The salesman followed him, begging for another chance, the entire way back to co-workers car. And then the co-worker went home and called the guy's boss to tell him what happened. Co-worker's last name is famous in those parts, because that was the family that sold the land that made one of the wealthiest places in the US. They sold the land. They didn't sell the farmhouse, which was also a revolutionary war era mansion. :)

In all honesty... Like AA meeting honesty...

I like to take baths....
In all AA meetings honesty, I take showers because I need to get clean but hate wasting the time it takes to get clean. Bathes require the time it takes to fill the tub, so I take showers. lol

Don't assume, simply because I study the Bible, I therefore understand everything I study. I'm often left with confusion anyway.

In like kind, don't assume just because you quote a single scripture to prove a point that means everything else you write is a direct revelation from God that no one can disagree with. (Or, you are free to assume that, but I won't be assuming that.)

Assumptions I dislike:

- You're a Christian so you hate homosexuals and Muslims

- You work at tech support so that makes it your fault that our printer stopped working
or:
- You work at tech support so you must know everything about everything tech related

I can take a shower -- from going upstairs to coming back down dressed -- in 15 minutes. Hubby tells me I shower like a guy.

(Oops. There I go comparing women to men again. lol)

Not to worry, I assume you know no insurances because you work at a chiropractic office. (I haven't had an insurance plan that covers chiropractic for 30 years. Boy! I wish I could afford an insurance that covers chiropractors. I've been trying to find one that works with my plan for three years with no progress. lol)

I didn't go to the link, but I read the link. How does a 60 year old smoker who eats animal feces AND decomposed porcupines still have teeth? ANY teeth? And by smoker -- what has he been smoking?

(Really, I want to know why he consented for the photo-op and story?)

Awww...thank you Jeni!

The children's father is Norwegian, he took Spanish all 4 years in HS, so it was quite funny when people speak Spanish to me and I just shrug and tell them I don't speak Spanish, then my Ex would start speaking Spanish to them and you can see the surprise look on their faces.....:D
