Honestly, the people in the Philippines worked hard for what they had and, in a moments notice, it was all swept away. Their hard work meant nothing in that moment. They misjudged the storm and regretted it. Natural disasters come at a moments notice and all that you pride yourself on having will be destroyed. When me and mine left Boulder, Co, we never expected that there would be a flood right after. We just left because GOD told us to. GOD can save you, if you only listen to HIM and not what you hear and see. People keep putting it in our, my traveling family and I, face that we chose to leave our house; that we chose to be without a home. It is better that we chose to leave when GOD told us to then to stay and chance being forced to leave or being killed because we didn't. Which would you rather?

I think you obviously did what you needed to if you left before the flood ruined everything. Keeping your faith with God s sometimes hard to do especially when you have loved ones telling you that you are wrong. I'm glad that you were spared that turmoil in your life the flood would have brought you.
