The thing is, the false ones believe they are true ones. They are faithfully adhering to False Doctrines. No one is trying to serve Satan. Satan gathers followers through the deliberate spread of False Doctrines. The Bible tells us how to tell True Doctrines from False Doctrines. By the Fruit, the Tree shall be known. True Doctrines center around what it is that God wants from us. True Christian Doctrines center around feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, treating the sick, comforting the imprisoned. False Christian Doctrines center around displays of wealth and political power. True Jewish Doctrines center around protecting women and children. False Jewish Doctrines center around displays of wealth and political power. I don't understand Islam sufficiently to comment thereon. I guess that it's about as close to Judaism, as Mormonism is to Christianity. Jesus did not distinguish between Christianity and Judaism when He spoke of True Jews and False Jews, instead He referred even to converted Samaritans as Jews, and Daniel lived before Jesus Christ's lifetime and considered thew prophesied Messiah , and therefore any future followers thereof, to be Jews. So when they spoke of true Jews, they were speaking of True Christians too, and when they were speaking of False Jews, they were speaking of False Christians too. It's possible that Muslims are the False Jews Daniel was talking about, but it's also possible that they are not. There are Muslims whose Doctrines center around displays of wealth and political power. There are also Muslims whose Doctrines center around feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, treating the sick, comforting the imprisoned, and Muslims whose Doctrines center around protecting women and children. So, by their fruit it is known, that there are True Muslims and False Muslims too.
