Hi everyone.

The new site is looking great but can someone tell
me what blogs are for. I have not used them before
and am a bit confused as people seem to be posting
in both the blogs and forums. What is the correct use for blogs.

Thanks folks

I believe it's for just that - blogging about whatever you'd like.

A lot of people who writes blogs, most of them uses blogs as a form of journal/diary. They write how their day have been, what they have done, what they are planning to do next, e.t.c... And a lot of them also writes down their thoughts and feelings. The only thing with blogging online that differs from a journal/diary book you keep at home, is that other people can check out what you have written online as well as comment on it. While when you write a journal/diary most of the things you have written will be kept private as long as you do not let other people read in it. ;) :)

Thanks folks - us oldies sometimes need educating in these things.

I wonder what Jesus would have wrote about if blogs had been available 2000 years ago!

What she said. :)

And also, your blog can't be hijacked like a forum thread can be. :)
