My Dad would buy Neapolitan and my siblings would eat only the vanilla and chocolate; for some reason Dad had to learn to make Strawberry his favorite too. Thats funny...

The ironic thing was it was the cheap stuff and it all tasted like wet cardboard anyway.

Those are both awesome stories and my dad loved getting the neapolitan too, but unlike the two of you, I would go for the strawberry, I would often get upset because they usually put more chocolate and vanilla than the strawberry :(

Strawberries are my favorite so I would choose strawberry anything :eek:

Not a fan of sweets, but on those rare occasions I eat ice cream, I like vanilla made with real vanilla. The artificial stuff tastes like axle grease.


...yes, I know what axle grease tastes like. Don't you?

I like a lot of different flavors... BlueBell French vanilla is good. I like vanilla with swirls of caramel in it... don't remember what it's called. Dutch Chocolate. Strawberry. Hot Fudge Sundaes at Braums... Chocolate covered cherry blizzard at DQ..

And Haagen Dazs (sp?) ice cream bars... vanilla with that smoooooth chocolate coating..

One ice cream I will NEVER eat? Anything from Ben and Jerry's. They mix wacked out liberal politics in with their ice cream, so I will never spend any money with them. Never.

Ouch. I remember eating Chunky Monkey once, and while I thoroughly enjoyed the ice cream, I felt dirty afterwards and had to take a shower that was a blend of "The Crying Game" and "Silkwood".

The balance of the hand scooping up all three flavors of ice cream as each mouth tastes.....yada yada yada, I know it was a stretch to begin with I'm just looking to honor God in all this somehow...Smile. No, but it is ironic foo shoo!:)...

Hmmm.. maybe this is God's way of saying we all need to pray for our Dad's.:rolleyes:...We love you Dad (s).(I haven't bought Neapolitan since, however).

Rocky Road is the best, but I also really like Brownie Batter Core(Ben & Jerry's) and Sea Salt Caramel(Talenti).

I haven't had ice cream in ages. When I was a kid, I think I enjoyed about any ice cream my mother set in front of me. Vanilla was especially good when I poured some orange juice in the bowl with it. And sherbet was good.

I like the old fashioned flavors. Ginger is my favorite. Frozen pudding, rum raisin, pumpkin. So much better when it's from a local dairy. YUM

Kroger supermarket has a pretty good pumpkin pie ice cream that comes out in the fall. loaded with carbs and sugar and fat, but it is gooood!!!

I'm reminded that when I was young, I would enjoy a root beer float from time to time. Wow I haven't had one of those in a really long time.

living in the south ( Georgia ) we had coke floats, made with Coca-Cola. I've had root beer, but to me, coke is better!
