i was really getting stressed out about a situation at work and was trying to clear it up and work it out when i just said a quit prayer while on hold with someone on the phone and God heard my prayer and when i got home today i called back at work and let my supervisor know what had been done to fix the problem plus i left paper work as proof , the supervisor was appreciative at how i handled the situation,
Last night, I got to celebrate my parent's 50th anniversary with them and the rest of our immediate family. What a beautiful and blessed night we had. Thank you, God, for giving my parents the strength and love to persevere through the tough times AND for letting them be such a wonderful example to me.

Reminded me today, that life is like a vapor, a heart beat away. Love remains, it is a piece of God's peace, of his love we can give to another. Lover's of self, is a terrible thing. It is like idol worshipping. We live to Love, we were brought back from spiritual death, by Jesus Love, and it should not end, and it does not end, for Love

God has shown me, today, that its not by my will that I draw close to Him. It is by His Will that He draws me toward Him.
Why are my feelings against my own self? I don't want to shut them off but I don't want to be ruled by them either. The heart of stone was easier to deal with. This heart of flesh is confusing and hurts. But for those moments when it doesn't hurt and its not confusing, it is simple and pure and perfect.

I have a son and 3 daughters and recently I've been thinking how it's sad that I don't really have the chance to spend one on one time with my son since becoming a single father. Last week a situation with their mum happened that I wasn't really happy about at first, but to cut a long story short my Father (God) worked it that I've got to spend the weekend with my son.

We had three families that don't show up to church regularly show up, and an hour earlier for Sunday school this morning.
I was asked what I did to get them there, but I didn't do anything.
God used my weakness in teaching Sunday School, in my head I was all over the map with my thoughts and worried that I wasn't articulating them clearly and the pastor said it was one of our best.
Todays sermon was on fathers and their responsibility to teach their children in the things of God and the men that needed to hear it where all there. His hand was all over our worship time this morning and it was just cool to be able to see Him working.
