Although the New Year fever is long gone, but this year is still undeniably very young at the moment. So I would like to request something pretty creative, fun & interesting, but much more helpful and sincere from you all.
Strict Rules: Write in three sentences, what you've learned from 2012, and how you will make changes in 2013 based on those lessons.
Optional: You may have more than one thing you've learned and you cannot contain them in three simple sentences, but to make it concise and straightforward, you will have to break them up in three sentences and draw your conclusions as required on each lessons.
Examples: I will use my own responses as examples so you may follow the criteria to write as many lessons as you want.
Last year, I learned a lot about change to the extent that I realized to make the world a better place, I have to start by changing the man in the mirror. If I keep doing what I have always done, I will always remain who I have always been, because nothing changes on its own accord unless something changes it; and oftentimes it only takes one person to start a rapid change. This year 2013, I am determined to make necessary changes, take necessary risks and try even harder than ever.
Last year I had a better understanding on the fact that life is just a vapor, it is now and soon it is no more; hence we ought to cherish every moment we spend with our friends and family, and express our love to them in words and actions because they might be taken away from us even sooner than we ever expected. In 2013, I will make sure I let my loved ones see, feel and know how much I care for and love them. Therefore I am determined to laugh always, live life to the fullest, and love deeply.
