Colossians 1:21-23New International Version (NIV)[SUP]21 [/SUP]Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of[SUP][a][/SUP] your evil behavior. [SUP]22 [/SUP]But now he has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation— [SUP]23 [/SUP]if you continue in your faith, established and firm, and do not move from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.

2 Corinthians 4:1-6-- Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God,[SUP][a][/SUP] we do not lose heart. [SUP]2 [/SUP]But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice[SUP][b][/SUP] cunning or to tamper with God's word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone's conscience in the sight of God. [SUP]3 [/SUP]And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. [SUP]4 [/SUP]In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. [SUP]5 [/SUP]For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your servants[SUP][c][/SUP] for Jesus' sake. [SUP]6 [/SUP]For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians
For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. [SUP]2 [/SUP]For in this tent we groan, longing to put on our heavenly dwelling, [SUP]3 [/SUP]if indeed by putting it on[SUP][a][/SUP] we may not be found naked. [SUP]4 [/SUP]For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal may be swallowed up by life. [SUP]5 [/SUP]He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who has given us the Spirit as a guarantee.[SUP]6 [/SUP]So we are always of good courage. We know that while we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord, [SUP]7 [/SUP]for we walk by faith, not by sight. [SUP]8 [/SUP]Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord. [SUP]9 [/SUP]So whether we are at home or away, we make it our aim to please him. [SUP]10 [/SUP]For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.

"Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion, for behold, I come and I will dwell in your midst, declares the LORD.
And many nations shall join themselves to the LORD in that day, and shall be my people.
And I will dwell in your midst, and you shall know that the LORD of hosts has sent me to you.
And the LORD will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land, and will again choose Jerusalem.”
Be silent, all flesh, before the LORD, for he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.

(Zechariah 2:10-13)

Be not thou envious against evil men, . . .
. . . neither desire to be with them.

For their heart studieth destruction, . . .
. . . and their lips talk of mischief.

2 Corinthians 12:7-10Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)[SUP]7 [/SUP]And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure. [SUP]8 [/SUP]For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me. [SUP]9 [/SUP]And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. [SUP]10 [/SUP]Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

[SUP]9 [/SUP]He answered me,
"The sin of the people of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great;
the land is full of bloodshed and the city is full of injustice.

They say, ‘The Lord has forsaken the land; the Lord does not see.’

[SUP]10 [/SUP]So I will not look on them with pity or spare them,
but I will bring down on their own heads what they have done.”

That's one of the attitudes i like with Paul. becoming a servant first then do the serving. Usually, we are more concern of doing and not becoming.
