After trying just about every name on planet earth without success (the computer kept telling me the names were already taken). I decided to look up the names of stars (the ones in outer space that is, not the TV kind). After all I thought, there are billions of stars, there has to be one which is not already in use! And so Miri is the name of a star.

A fractal curve is a curve that is fractal in some way, typically by being non-differentiable everywhere or by having double period symmetry.

Belle came from the fact that I used to work for a Bell telephone company and just added the e to be feminine. I was a mod on a football forum when I worked there so it was the city the team was from and Belle on the end. Everyone just called my Belle, so it became my nick and I dropped the city. The Pretty was added to it later.
