I learned that the few times I've asked people to pray for me here, I've gotten a great response and it always helps me feel better. Sometimes in a supernatural way. The folks here are really wonderful. :)

I have learnt that we need to share everything we have experienced.

The breadth of experience and perspective of people here is so vast, you cannot
assume anything. Some may deeply disagree on some theology, and then you
discover that something very fundamental has never happened in their lives.

One man I talked to had a ministry of deliverance or so he thought.
It turned out he was captive to lust, which his wife used to continually turn
his head, while seducing literally all the guys around him.

And yet he still stayed with her, until finally he had had enough.
I tried to get him to express his feelings or perspectives on life, but everything
was superficial, and instant.

So this medium is limited, but it shows the breadth of viewpoints which can be a
real blessing. I would never have known about the doctrine of total inability,
or the power love has in our hearts to help us walk in the Spirit, conquering sin,
and leading us into righteousness.
