I'm getting married next year, no definitive date picked out yet, but most likely during the spring or early summer, and we are thinking Italy for a honeymoon. I've never been out of the country, except to Canada. lol :)

That sounds awesome! And thank you :)

My dad was born in Italy, and it would mean a lot to go there. Another idea would be to stay in the states, and visit NYC for a honeymoon. Central Park and all that is romantic. :)

My wife and I are going down to Kansas City in a couple weeks. We'll spend two nights there and then head to Chicago. And spend two nights there and then back home.

I originally wanted to take her on a cruise in the gulf but some un-expected costly events occurred at the beginning of the year. So we're settling on KC and Chicago... lol

Its our 20th anniversary so I'm trying to at least do something. My wife loves cooking and certain chefs on t.v. and I was so impressed with the BBQ down in KC that I thought she would really like it. Especially a couple of the diners, drive-ins, and dives from Guy Fieri's show...

Chicago was my wifes idea. I've never been there. And honestly never desired to. Although I hear the food is exceptional and theres lots of things to do. It would be awesome to see the Cubs at Wrigley Field, though.

My oldest daughter and I have been talking about a trip to Germany for octoberfest.

My youngest daughter and I have been talking about a trip to Israel.

So those two things are on the list after I finally get my wife on that cruise....

Sounds wonderful, I bet your wife will really appreciate getting away from normality and some quality time alone together with you.

I love travel...well getting there actually. I love flying and sailing but I'm not too fond of car journey's and I hate hanging around airports, connecting flights and all that security - I know it's a necessary evil.

some friends are getting married at a big renaissance festival. a week-long camping excursion where everyone dresses up & talks like a poorly-quoted, exaggerated memory of the KJV. probably over 10,000 people attending.

we're going, God willing. should be fun. i intend to dress as a monk and spread the gospel of the great works of my Liege :)

This might be the coolest wedding idea I've heard in a while. :) Sounds like so much fun!

That sounds like a fantastic trip. I've been to Italy several times, but I've never spent time in Sicily or Sardinia. I've always wanted to explore Sardinia though. The pictures I've seen of the rugged terrain and beaches look very enchanting. It seems to have a distinct regional culture. I'm sure you'll have a great time :)

Great time seeing the Cardinals, Royals and Chiefs. A road trip for the ages, and through it all praising God for all His blessings!
