Key Passage: 1 Corinthians 9:24-25

Do you not know?

That in a race all the runners run....

- Do you mean you can only see runners in a race not somewhere else? There are also two kinds of race, worldy and spiritual race. What about the runners? There are also two kinds of runner, one is running like my coach, Jesus and running like Satan. And what the runners do? Are they running or just enjoying the scenery? They should run!

but only one gets the prize...
- There should be a prize to get, but only one gets it? In your life, what's the prize symbolizes?

Run in such a way as to get the prize...
- Run to get it but God din't expect us to be the first to get it, did He?

Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training...
- He just expect us to submit in Christ-like training. Submit to God's strict training just like Jesus did.

THey do it to get a crown that will last forever...
- The runners run to get a crown. A crown that you can get even you're not the first one to finish the race. Thank God if you're the first in kindness, generosity, setting a good example or first in humility. Be grateful. But God's Kingdom is not a race to compete. It is a race to finish to get a crown that will last forever.

God is not finished with me yet.

God expects me to finish the race, and when I finish it even I'm the last to finish it, I will still hear him say... "Well done, good and faithful servant, well done!"

I have my own race to run... what about you?

Do you have something to share about your race? I love to hear them... the fall, the pain, the confusion and the victory.
