I picked pickles because I do alot of canning and the first thing I canned were home made pickles, and because my family loves my home made pickles.
Also to pickle is to preserve, to save!

God bless

It was the time of the STER!

The STER era.

NapSTER, FriendSTER, so on and so forth.
My nick used to be frames 'coz I wear eyeglasses, plus we do have frames for paintings,

I'm an Artist, who wears glasses and it was the STER era ... hence

The FRAMESTER! Yay! *claps*
lol :D

I've always thought of you, as pickles, this way:
when you place a cucumber (or other veggie) in a salt solution, it becomes something different to what it was. :)
Juat as we, as believers, are placed in Christ, and soak in Him, and become something new! ♥

I've noticed people are a bit offput by 'psychomom', which is certainly understandable! lol

But when my oldest kids were about 10-15, some friends from high-school and college visited, and told stories about 'mom' when she was a girl. My children, in all naiveté, said, 'poor mom! she wasn't psychotic till we came along!' (I'm hoping they didn't yet grasp the meaning of psychotic! lol)
They dubbed me 'psychomom', and it stuck. Since my name wasn't available when I joined, I just quickly tried psychomom, being fairly sure no one else would be foolish enough to use it, and violà!
I do sometimes wonder if I should ask to have it changed, for the sake of others, though...
your thoughts are appreciated.

I love these threads, as it helps us get to know one another better. :)
Thanks, Wilfred!

I had just read the book “The Red Tent”. It was the place the women gathered and gave each other help and encouragement.

I think I already told why in 2 other threads asking the exact same thing.
Oh well!

R is my first initial.
Elena is my middle name.
7 is what my favorite birthmark is shaped like.

Put em together?? ...Relena7! :D
On a side note, I used to be Rose1919 way back in the day. Does anyone remember me from then? :p I used to go in the chat rooms a LOT. Before the whole voice chat thing took over.

Well after having tried countless names and nick names without any success (they were all taken), I decided to look up the names of stars in the sky, after all their are billions of them and I felt sure I could find one which was not in use. Anyway I came across Miri so Miri is the name of a star.

Nautilus is a favorite character of mine in a video game i play.
Reminds me of Capt. Nemo and his submarine The Nautilus from the novel, Twenty Thousand Leagues Under The Sea.
