Well since I am unsure whether White Rabbit is kosher to play I'll just look for Somebody to Love

Lol Grace Slick always reminds me of that awkward moment for my generation where you find an older musician attractive only to then realize she's old enough to be your grandma and does not look like that anymore.

Still not bad looking for an old woman.

My claustrophobia just kicked in.

I went to see the Allman Brothers and it was a dance concert. No one dances at those concerts, It just means you have to stand. I got claustrophobic wondering what would happen if I just had to sit down. Instead a I fainted. My friend dais it was lik the parting of the Red Sea. No room to sit down, but everyone made room for me to fall flat. lol

In my younger days I would have probably gone to it, but now there is no way you would see me there, I don't enjoy big venues, I stay away from large crowds of anything.

Him...but the body can only stand so much alcohol and drugs.
Jimi Hendrix died from an adverse effect from a sleeping tablet he had taken, not from alcohol or narcotics!

Always felt like CSN&Y was somewhat underrated for their time and of course for my time too, yet such a talented band that actually churned out quite a number of good and popular songs both in 60s and 70s, and of course were at Woodstock. My favorite song by them is Ohio, but I suppose that came a little later on, so Suite Judy Blue Eyes it is. "Dooo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo, doo"

A lot of good music came out of the Vietnam era. Remember bad moon on the rise by Creedence Clearwater Revival? I used to think that song was talking about werewolves but it was actually about how it was considered pretty much suicide to go out into the jungle at night

Hey Dude653, Barry Mcquire's On the Eve of Destruction was a big protest song, it's so poignant when he says "your old enough to kill but not for votin". :(

I got mine at Amazon, it's gonna be pricey because it's an import. I just looked and it's $39.99 before tax!:(
I paid about the same price but I promise you every song is good! That's sayin something since most of the time you might like 2 or 3 on a CD or albumn, but I rpomise you that every song on Part Of The Game is really good.

I just looked and they only have 1 left.

The UK equivalent of Woodstock was Isle of Wight (1970), August 26th to 30th/31st, Jimi Hendrix died some days later on 18th September 1970, such a great talent taken so young!
I loved that time. My friends and I were all young, full of life and believed we could change the world!
It is a great shame that Hendrix and others died so young. There is a belief that Jimi Hendrix may have been murdered.

Dear me, I haven't heard this since I played it as a record from my elder sister's (45rpm) vinyl collection (so LONG ago)...

I used to love playing it over and over again!

You made my day! lol
