First of all, what is cheesesteak? A slice of cheese atop a piece of steak? If so, yes, pineapple would be nice on it.

I'm an Aussie, it's okay for me not to know these things. Looks tasty! Could do with some veggies though (tomato, chillies, garlic sauce, lettuce) :)

Sure thing. I like pineapple and it sounds like an interesting combination.

Do they really serve that dish with that much meat? That would never happen in Australia. At best you'd get two layers of meat.

This is a torta its delicious and it has pineapple in it sometimes too, I would try pineapple on a cheesesteak only because I've tried it on a torta but I'm skeptical.

Mmmmmmmmmmmm I want a torta now :( They're so gooooooooooooooooood I think they're my favorite when done correctly because some people think its just a sandwich. ITS NOT its bigger than a burger too. (except those non regular burgers that are purposely made to impress people the common torta is always bigger than the common burger)

This thread is making me hungry.:p That torta looks sooooo delicious.

I wouldn't mind experimenting cheese steak with pineapple filling.
