Hi Mooky,
One of my favourite places can be seen on the photo I use on here. Its a beautiful place on the east coast of Scotland called St Abbs point. Named after a 7th century princess who helped bring Christianity to Scotland. The area has great cliffs many hundreds of feet high and near by is the place where St Abbe built her little church.
I like being at the sea when the wind is so strong that you can lean into it without falling over, its as if the Lord himself is holding you up.
Such places truly feed the soul.
Hope you get to Iceland one day, God willing.

I can think of so many, it is hard to decide. Ruby Lake in the Trinity Alps of California needs to be experienced, though it is a three day hike in. Paradise Park on the Mt Hood Loop trail in July when the wild flowers make huge fields of color is Oh, what an experience. Or laying on the deck of a boat far out to sea talking with a group of porpoise.
But I think my very favorite place is Singapore. It is like entering many different worlds and cultures all with a bit different rules.
