Does anyone know how to send a youtube link to a friend in an email where it only will play a certain part of the video?

Say like the video is 10 minutes long and the part I want to share with a friend starts at minute 6 and ends at minute 8.

Is there a way I can send a link and it will only play that part? Minute 6 to 8 etc?

I saw on youtube how you can start a video at a certain minute but it does not show how to end. It will play the rest of the video.

I don't know how. I am sure you'll get an answer though, soon enough.
If not, scroll to the very bottom of the page where it says user to user tech support. Its mostly for this site, but they will cheerfully answer general tech questions.

I'm no tech, but I've never heard of being able to do that. I usually just tell them where I want them to listen to (e.g. Hey! minutes 6-8 seemed to really explain our situation last night! (link)).

My guess is that you'd have to have software such as RealPlayer. You'd download the video with the software, then edit the video to the length you want, then upload it onto YouTube, and send the link to your friend.

I tried installing RealPlayer once, but it seemed to interfere with my Google Chrome.
